i would get the 22/250 use factory ammo save the brass then get a reloading kit and reload for it. you can have a load of different loads for it. lower fps and higher fps. 52/53 grain amax and varget powder at 34.7 grains 3600fps looks good but work up to the loads and see which is best in your rifle. im going to and im glad ive picked the 22/250 even before ive shot it. done alot of reading upon it and thats the one for me yes ammo is more to buy then 223 but how much do you plan on using it ?

nice one mate he will ask you on safety and about what happened years ago. like before be truthfull tell him how sorry you are and how you have changed then on the safety side you have had shotguns before and make sure your cabinet is fixed in a room away from visters and to a solid wall. ie in a bedroom will be fine as long as its a soild wall. good luck mate you will be fine

well if you want deer then 243 it is mate. you can shoot munjac, cwd, and roe deer with 223 north of the border but down here only munjac and cwd. i would just get the 243 if i where you then you can take any deer in the uk

cz bolt action for me not to dear to buy, soild workhorse build, and accurate as you like, cant be beat for the money

20 inch barrel is fine for 223 but i wouldnt want a 26 inch barrel on a 22/250 cut to 20 inchs as you would loss fps and that to me would spoil the point of having the 22/250 in the 1st place. my rifle is going to be around the 29.1/2 to 30 inch mark when the mod is fitted to my 22/250 as ive gone for the front mounted mod of the ase. it seams alittle long but i wont be shooting it from in a jeep so the lenght isnt going to worry me

set triggers can be good but more suited to centrefire rifles i think. as for quick shooting of rabbits a set trigger would be a pain in the ass i think. where the normal 452 trigger with brooks kit is a delight to use. i found the trigger ok on my cz 22lr but it was a little heavy and had creep. but once i fitted the kit i found the trigger a joy to use.

hi mate have you checked the power your rifle is putting out ? if not go get it done and see what its at

had both and pcp for me. better accuracy yes some people can shoot spring guns very well but overall most could shoot a pcp better. yes you do have to charge pcp but get a 12 ltr 300 bar bottle get it filled and it lasts along time. pcp will hold money better. and in fac form are very good better then springers. when springers are fac'd there recoil more so again harder to shoot as good i would say. but spring guns are cheap to get dont need charging and re flling. plus if you can master one then a pcp is a walk in the park

5/6 weeks doesnt seem too bad at all. My father is quite keen for me to get a gun, just to need to convince my mother for keeping it in the house. Thanks for all the advice guys. hi why not get your dad to apply to mate you could both have some fun down the range on clay pigeons or do abit of ruff shooting with each other

I've done mine and my mates for him. there difference as you say is super. the grouping improves alot once you do it as you no when there trigger is going to break. just make sure you bump test the rifle after as some of the springs can be to light and make the rifle go off when the bolt is shut or if the rifle takes a little knock. cracking pictures to mate they will help anyone else out that isnt sure how to fit it

River carp, mad to give it a go?
jamie g replied to mole catcher's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
got some monster river carp in the seven at worcester. 20 pound + and fight very hard. i havent had one but ive watched a couple of people fish there and take a couple -
my cz style perfers the eley sub ammo 60 yard zero just a ragged hole. ive shot a couple of hv ammo but i find it very inaccurate so dont bother with it. if i need extra range then i use the hmr. what i would do if you all ready havent. is get the brooks trigger kit fitted. you groups will improve even more when the trigger is breaking sweet

only 25yrds. i find if i sight into 55yrds " not for target shooting but for vemin " its basically the same within a 1/3 of an inch for 25yrds out to 85yrds. all the ones i took yerterday were taken with one shot. theres only one thing the varmint is missing, a hogue stock, not the shitty synthetic type on the sillhoette but the one for the rugers. rich i set mine at 60 yards mate i have the synthetic stock and find it of but i would like a wild dog stock but dont fancy paying that sort of money for it a wild dog stock ? do you have a link to it ? edited:

177 for me in 12ftlb power. its flatter and more forgiving and as a better range then 22. for me 22 0 yards and 177 35 to 40 yards. i no you can go over 30 yards with the 22 but is loopy at at range where the 177 is flat flying. ive had loads of rabbits and pigeons at 40 yards with the 177

you just take your fac to the shop mate and they would put bullet heads on your fac like if you where buying factory ammo so i was told. you can buy bullet heads though the post but only some sorts not expanding ammo. i was told off a lad down south who has done it for years and no's his stuff. he reloads for lots of different cal rifles he told me to by the speer 14'' manual its got loads of stuff in there and good loads on what to start on and build up to. a lad on a different site i speak to is selling the complete reloading manual for the 223 remington if you want a copy let me

even if the bring something in it would put people off getting a ticket. the back log is bad as it is in some countys for fac so what would it be like if they bring this in for standard air rifles !
