  1. if its passed for rimfire then the hmr should be passed. i would ask you firearms department the land could be passed for bigger caliber rifles allready if it is and your paying the money for hmr to go on ticket put in for centrefire at same time it wont cost any extra.
  2. Muslims dont get cremated.well unless they have a bomb strapped to them its something to do with a crematory or where they go prey for there loss so i will respect there rules and get on with the rabbiting Pity they didnt take a leaf out of your book yes your right mate some dont respect our rules. but of some of our own people dont anyway the guy who let us go over there seams ok so i we will see how it go's
  3. very nice and loads of stuff you can add if you wanted
  4. how much does he do the long nets for lads ?

  6. here is my old mans jack russelxbeagle he is 18 months now. didnt do much with him last year but this year we hope to get him out and about. over the last couple of months he has had a couple of rats and mice in the garden by the chicken pen. and he is starting to use his nose more now so hope he will turn into a good bushing dog for us when ferreting when the season starts this year. if the fox has been over our garden in the night 1st think in the morning the dog is up the garden sniffing all over the place he soon picks up his sent and if the tree rats have been down after the nuts
  7. just got some new ground for ferreting on. it isnt very big about 1 acre maybe abit more but its full of rabbits. my dad done some ground work job for the guy on his house and he said we can control the rabbits in his ground. he also looks after the the muslim crematorium buy his house which they have been having problems with the rabbits round there to. he said we can go there anytime to ferret to. so its nice to help out round there for the people that have loved ones burried there rabbits are digging everywhere and munching up flowers, the lot so we will get them under control
  8. There is next to nothing to make it dirty with an air rifle so forget it! Rimfire ammo is filthy, but there are those that never clean them, IMO rimfire mods needs cleaning more than any other, the lumps of crud you get out have to be seen to be believed! yes your right deker and the crud isnt good for the barrel if you leave the mods on after use
  9. i agree they can get hornady, remmington, federal ammo in the usa for $12 for 50 shows you how our goverment rips the people of the uk off with all the tax the :wankerzo4:
  10. Done this, got three out of a group of four at 60 yards, they weren't a bit bothered. Fourth rabbit was a young one so I let him scuttle off home. i have had two at 125 yards next to each other i got it on film to. the other one just sat there
  11. i wouldnt bother with hv rounds there not that accurate i think and even if you get the odd accurate grouping i still dont think there that consistant. get hmr
  12. it is more dear to run then 22lr but like john has said if need and want the extra range then go for it. the hmr is a very accurate caliber and for bunny control over open ground its the best imo. yes it is louder then 22lr but rabbits dont seam to no where the noise is coming from and alot of the time you can shoot one and then his friend next to him its also good if you come across the od fox when out keep the range down some say to 100 yards but i would stick to yards and go for the head shot between the eye and ear and he will go down like a bag of crap i have both 22l
  13. what he said also i would say the shotgun makes to much mess of the rabbits so you want the rifle because you want to be able to eat them with out all that shot in them
  14. sounds like the gunsmith is looking to sell him a new barrel there is no way that would be shot out there good for 6 to 7 times that ! if looked after. he needs to check his mounts, clean his mod, clean the barrel with some proper cleaner. then see how it shoots. it mite take a 50 odd rounds to get it back on song after scrubbing the barrel out. if he does that i bet it will be fine again. if not he should check the crown on the rifle. make sure it isnt damaged
  15. Hi i have had an ASPRO add on for the past 14 months, takes some getting used to but they are good. My mate down in Porthcawl has the new add on and its much better than mine . You do need a low mag side paralax scope for them to work good. i use MTC scopes Bry gb sights are a good bit of kit if you like shooting your rifle with your chin on your but rubber, sorry guys but an adon dont look [bANNED TEXT] 3" to " off back of scope not good.. when they go wrong you try getting hold of gavin, youve got no chance. sorry guys dusty ive met gavin mate when i wen
  16. are they homeloads mate ? or factory ammo ?
  17. good stuff your getting out and about lately sounder god wish i was but the weather here is at the moment
  18. i told him it. i said im sure he can use him but i would get someone else to do it instead of the guy who's farm your are going to be shooting over. not that it would matter if he is of good standing i was going to do it with mine but i never as i didnt want it to look like he mite be doing it just so i can shoot there. if he was a game keeper himself then i would of as in my eyes it would look a good reason then
