Nearly boaked just thinking of the smell ? Think I’d just have poured petrol on the whole scene and just gave up on the bag & nets. Not in the same league, but I’ve spilled maggots in the motor a few times and, even though I thought I’d got them all, came out to a car full of flies a few days later.

Fcukin hell.., being an England fan must be like being bi-polar ? You tank a pub team 6-1 and you’re booking tickets for the final. One defeat in a meaningless game and it’s back to the doom and gloom. It’ll be a different side with a lot more at stake and so a lot more purpose against Colombia. I think you’ll make the semi..., then who knows. Don’t be cutting the wrists quite yet....

Almost a dead rubber, but winning the game probably makes the Belgians job harder. If England can beat Colombia then it’s Sweden or Switzerland. Not going to get a better chance and so I think anything less than the semi’s now is abject failure.

Lad I work with was playing golf last week and his ball ran into a ditch. Says when he went to get it there was a badger sitting there next to the ball. He said it didn’t look sick or injured and just wandered off. I wondered if it was maybe one of last year’s evicted males that was lying up there as it didn’t have a home sett. Or maybe it was just rubbish at golf too.

Think it’ll be fine. The dilated pupil, which looks minging, was apparently caused by treating the cut/graze on his eyelid with epinephrine/adrenalin. I’m always cautious with the hype surrounding fighters but Taylor is showing as he moves up levels that he has all the tools to take him to the top. I just hope that working with Cyclone doesn’t hamper his opportunites. At 27 he’s in his prime and needs to keep fighting.

I’ll give a watch. No decent fishing programmes made any more unless you’re into catching gold fish. I’m always a sucker for a fishing programme..., a few times I’ve watched Wilson or Hayes ‘wobbling a deadbait’ for pike..., or doing a wee bit of winter barbel fishing and then found myself the next day standing by a remote and windswept barren looking loch, with a sub-zero wind chill and the foam from the huge breaking waves blowing round my feet, wondering just what the fcuk I’m doing there ?

The government has ‘ordered a review’ into the medicinal use of cannabis. Ridiculous given that it’s taken this long given that so many people, including medical professionals, have championed the benefits and effectiveness for years now. Recreational use is a different debate and should be kept completely separate to the one for helping people who’s health is at stake. Hague is right though, it’s a total waste of precious resources chasing people around for selling or smoking a bit of weed.

Embarrassing? Really?? Tunisia are no pub team, and England don’t have a single star in theirs. But you got a deserved win, and on another night it could easily have been 4-0. Whinging POMs about right ?
