  1. I don't. I'm new to this and you got me fair & square. I should have guessed earlier with the avatar and the '10 in a row' blooper. I think the only Rangers games you've ever been to you've been in the Celtic end . Well played
  2. IMO it just feeds the fire for bigotry and sectarian shite He openly talks bout shite. Manages and played with biggest catholic team in Britain. Then plays for northern ire. Then wonders why he's getting nail bombs up through his door. The amount of times he's been attacked and gets abuse it what ever ground he goes too. I'm not saying he deserves the extreme shite that he gets, no one does. Bu he does bring a lot of it on him self. You are either at the wind up, which I think you are, or you seriously need help. One thing you're definitely not, is a Rangers supporter.
  3. 14 million Russian soldiers killed in WW2. That's a lot of tree food.
  4. I went to football through out the 90s for 10 n row era and never missed home game.Guessing that's a typo...it was only 9 Not sure how much you can blame McCoist for his or the staff salaries. He's been as duped as the supporters about the shape of the club's finances. On the park I know they've had a couple of 'shocker' results against Forfar & Raith in the cups, but they've pissed the league. And it's not like Rangers currently have a team full of Premier league standard players..., how many of the current squad would you expect to feature if you were fighting Celtic for the title righ

  7. There was one with a leopard and a baboon, and there's been loads (on Youtube) with lions and young antelope etc. Don't think any of them end well for the young animal. Might've been kinder for the lion just to have scranned the thing straight away.

  9. Nice photo. It must be years since I last looked into a blackie's nest!!
  10. My mate's 4 year old lad asked a pretty awkward question at a pretty awkward moment once. I'll set the scene...my mate and his wife are both professional people, who get involved in local committees & with various local issues, and actively involved with charities etc. Basically, fine upstanding members of their community. My mates wife was out the front of the house, in the idyllic little cul-de-sac they live in, chatting with the retired couple who live next door when the little lad comes out and tugs at his mum's sleeve saying "mum...., mum". She shushed him without looking at him and
  11. I take your point..., but it's got fcuk all to do with this thread and the girl dying. Think it's a safe bet that Peaches had more money than me but she's now dead ..., and I'm older than she was and still here.
  12. Your health is your wealth. I know if I had to choose to lose my health or my wealth which one I'd keep.
  13. Why on earth would you find it 'insulting' that she'd committed suicide? Would you be less, or not insulted, if she was poor? It's no more tragic, only more news worthy. Not sure it was only Diana's death that led to news programmes filled with these rambling & gushing tributes to the departed, usually by people not even that close to the deceased, but probably the advent of 24 hour news broadcasting and a need to fill these programmes with something/anything. It's not only deaths..., take the disappearance of Malaysian jet..., in the first week or so after, news programmes 24 hours
  14. As a pure boxing fan the York Hall is hard to beat for atmosphere.......as a fighter its near impossible to beat for atmosphere......but for casual fans and the football crowd who just want a sing song and a knees up its probably not the best venue as it only holds less than 1500 people..........the atmosphere is within the place itself, even the walk up the steps outside gets your pulse racing................part of the atmosphere as a fighter is that you are trying to live up to whats gone before you, within a mile of York Hall is at least 3 top pro gyms and 3 top amateur gyms so the area brea
  15. Never been to the York Hall but it's definitely on my list of things I've gotta do before I die. It looks like a great venue, and a proper bear pit with the balcony. Think I'd much rather spend my cash watching a show like Prizefighter in the York Hall, than sitting 200 rows from ringside at Wembley watching Froch v Groves.
  16. Love watching Ringside and loved this feature. It's usually a good watch and I think it's done a lot to raise the profile of boxing.
  17. Amazing piece of engineering granted. Sadly much of it was built using cheap Eastern European labour as we have nowhere near enough skilled men in the UK any more to build something half this size. I think that's sad.. Who told you that shiteWhat shite? That much of it was built using foreign labour..., or that there isn't now a large enough skilled ship building indigenous workforce to tackle a project of this size?. Both I can really only talk about Rosyth, but from the outset there has been a substantial part of the workforce made up of foreign labour. That's not shite. That also kind o

  19. Maybe, I couldn't say. But the technicians, engineers, scientists and project managers almost certainly won't have been cheap, foreign or second rate. You'd be surprised! A lot of 'skilled' positions filled by imported labour, certainly at Rosyth where the thing is being assembled.

  21. You're right, far healthier than breakfast cereals.., which are almost all packed with sugar, even the ones you'd associate with 'healthy eating'! Keep feeding him a goose egg & a stack of toast like that...he'll make some lump of a boy...future prop forward?
  22. Daylight for the 5 a.m. dog walk/run, the smell of barbeques, sitting out the back garden drinking until midnight after a long sunny day, the sound of lawn mowers, swifts screaming & hearing a blackie singing at dusk, leaving for work wearing a T-shirt, Sunday afternoon sessions in a beer garden...and the moment you laugh & say fcuk it I'll just take a sickie tomorrow, fly fishing for trout in the last hour of daylight when a rise comes on and your fly is working a treat, taking my kids camping, hill walking in the highlands with little or no clouds on the tops to spoil the views......
  23. Some nice pics there Jay. The toad is a good one, although I can't look at it for too long... reminds me of her mother.
  24. Some fine & healthy looking pups so far... happy days ahead. A couple of mine...5½ months, about 21”
  25. Thanks Derek. Nothing fancy, just a 'lurcher type' to a collie/grey half cross.
