    Folks use woodland for all sorts of stuff. I did an introductory knife making course , at a woodland . The guy also ran short bushcraft courses( building shelters etc ). When I did the knife making course , my hammer skills were much better than the guy that was running the course . I think it must have been my years working in garages , and learning to manipulate metal with a hammer .

    I've been thinking about this one all weekend, and I just can't wrap my head around it. It's one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen. Is she mad or is she bad ? . Her actions are pure evil of the very worst kind imaginable. It's impossible to put those evil actions with that innocent looking young woman we've all seen on the TV , the two things just don't fit together . I think my brain just can't accept that anyone could do such evil things , to innocent little babies. I could cry just thinking about it.

    This might be a daft question, but , is it the same Ash die back that we have in the UK.

    Have you heard how the research into Ash die back resistant trees is going ?. They had found Ash trees that were genetically resistant to Ash die back , in one part of the country , and were hoping to restock the country from the resistant trees. I haven’t heard any more about it for a while.

    It'll make a nice stick mate . I make the odd knob stick from rowan saplings , and I use the root ball as the knob.
