Not really sure of the context but I agree. There's a lot of very frustrated people out there with commonly held personal views that are marginalised by the mainstream. The more extremist elements of this are gonna snap! Typically the answer will be to marginalise them further........ That'll be what I meant.

I hated to see him being paraded about too.... I was always under the impression that as a Muslim there burial was to be within 24 hours of death... just saw on sky news his funerals next week & every ones invited ... its being televised like a state funeral which I find a little bit sad if truth be told I cant think his ego was that big he would have wanted to have a state like funeral despite his conversion to Islam ... so I assume this is his familys decision Think that only applied to Bin Laden.

All the jokes aside, levelling the blame wherever, parents, zoo etc. The minute that kid was in that enclosure the gorilla was on borrowed time. I don't think there was a genuine viable alternative. I doubt there would have been the same outpouring of grief and pages of condolence if it was the kid that was dead.

The parents are saying they are not to blame and it was a simply a case of mistaken identity. Apparently the child thought the gorilla was his auntie Jean.

I personally think it was wrong purely from the conservational point of view, silverbacks are quite rare whereas the world is full of four year old brats.

The reason I put fecking Syrian in brackets was because the report I read differed from the link put up in that the reporter never once called them Syrian simply saying they were from Syria and insisted on calling them Swiss which they are quite clearly not. Nor are they ever going to be, but, if it gives the author of the piece and all the leftwing tree huggers a warm glow inside, well who am I to complain. What do you think they deserved?, a group hug and a trip to Disneyland. Thankfully my outlook is more simplistic and less morally inhibited, the kicking was deserved and should be inflicted weekly for the foreseeable future.
