I'd class your dog as gun nervous as opposed to gunshy, there is a difference. If he was truly gunshy he'd be off when a shot was fired. One of my dogs was exactly the same, I'd used the same methods with him as all the other dogs, banging bowls, starter pistol, shotgun at a distance eventually working my way in. He never bolted, he just looked uncomfortable and like yours was keen to go for the shot bird. I genuinely don't know why gundog lurchers aren't more popular. I like collie crosses, but as lurcher work goes ( in the true sense of the word) I would think gundog breeds would be up there along side them. The title should read, police too scared, it's that simple. Add to it, politicians too scared. This, along with many other issues regarding muslims is a nettle that needs to be grasped. Sadly the police, government and even us as a nation have no stomach for it as we know what it will undoubtedly lead to. Muslims know this also, that's why they so freely abuse the system. By not doing anything we are just postponing the inevitable.

I never paid much heed to politics or politicians until the hunting ban was looming. I then had cause to meet and converse with mp's of all major parties. Until then I always assumed the people who would seek to govern us were a bit more switched on and better educated than us ordinary plebs. Boy was I fecking wrong.

Damn right...and anyone who hunts who votes for these freaks...well I don't even know what to say Same could be said for anyone that votes for any of the major parties including UKIP, none of them have abolishing the Hunting Act as a policy... To be fair though labour did give a lot of people a crack at employment who might never have gotten a chance but for them. I'm pretty sure you'll find there are many young black lesbian outreach coordinators who are extremely grateful.

I'm not a fan of Corbyn, but at least you can tell the difference between him and the government. For a long time it was difficult to differentiate between the two main parties and individual politicians. Oppositions are meant to be opposite and oppose each other and give people a wider more clear choice. Don't matter if you yourself agree with them, it's a healthier democracy all round.

They play it down for one simple reason, when it eventually kicks off ( and it will ) there will be carnage on a mass scale on both sides.
