All the jokes aside, levelling the blame wherever, parents, zoo etc. The minute that kid was in that enclosure the gorilla was on borrowed time. I don't think there was a genuine viable alternative. I doubt there would have been the same outpouring of grief and pages of condolence if it was the kid that was dead.

The parents are saying they are not to blame and it was a simply a case of mistaken identity. Apparently the child thought the gorilla was his auntie Jean.

I personally think it was wrong purely from the conservational point of view, silverbacks are quite rare whereas the world is full of four year old brats.

The reason I put fecking Syrian in brackets was because the report I read differed from the link put up in that the reporter never once called them Syrian simply saying they were from Syria and insisted on calling them Swiss which they are quite clearly not. Nor are they ever going to be, but, if it gives the author of the piece and all the leftwing tree huggers a warm glow inside, well who am I to complain. What do you think they deserved?, a group hug and a trip to Disneyland. Thankfully my outlook is more simplistic and less morally inhibited, the kicking was deserved and should be inflicted weekly for the foreseeable future.

Until we drop the attitude the nhs is an untouchable free for all national treasure it's going to steadily go down the pan. I've a great respect for doctors and nurses, the hard working kind with good ethics, but many are second rate hiding away in the system knowing no matter what they do to fcuk up they're pretty much untouchable. I'd hazard a guess part of the problem also is Johnny foreigners access to the service also, perhaps if the left wing labour and liberal tree huggers accepted and addressed this then there's a good chance junior doctors could get a better deal all round. What a fecking ludicrous statement. You could apply that mindset to everything from a car to a pair of boots. So every purchase should be cheap just in case it doesn't suit you?. Add to that the bangers who won't ever have a good dog due to being said bangers, regardless of the dogs breeding. What if the dogs screwed to the ground were like that because they weren't smacked?. I'm no expert or professional dog trainer and I'm not condoning knocking the shit out of dogs, but I'd reckon the majority of gundogs at the top level have had that and worse.

I genuinely am baffled as to why gundog lurchers are so rare in comparison to other types. The only reason I can think of is that most owners now do genuinely consider a point and slip dog to be a lurcher.

I can see both sides of the argument, I'd kick the seven shades of shit out that pair, but I'm not about to lend the rspca my support because as has been said it could well be a legitimate hunter next. This pair of scrotes are just the here and now. Anyone thinks different, stick a video up of a dog catching ferreted rabbits or a legal bit of fox control, you will be considered the same as this pair by the majority of people signing that petition.

Just reading this morning about a 28 year old woman having to be rescued off Ben Nevis, she was wearing shorts and trainers, she was on a mountain biking holiday and apparently just decided to pop up the mountain. No long term ill effects although it would seem she has suffered slight oxygen starvation as she keeps rattling on about a hobbit like figure with a Pomeranian appearing out the mist mumbling minshaw over and over again.

At the risk of being called insensitive, we're now on our second vigil, a fund set up for him has so far raised £27,000 for his family and wee Kranky Sturgeon has made an appearance. Why?. Compare this to the fifteen year old girl found murdered recently and god knows how many other poor beggars in recent months.
