  6. good shooting. great to see the little guy out. my little lad is five and spent a few days out with me on the rabbits with our ferrets. he always ask to come shooting but will have to wait a while yet well done, I have been shooting a few bucks recently just need to get some pics on here lol
  7. good work well done. I shot one a few years back in long grass. only seemed to run a short distance but with the grass at knee height I could not find any blood or pins. I must of walked within feet of it half a dozen times before I found it lol
  8. great pictures thanks for sharing.
  9. good work. it is very difficult to manage how you would like to, when the owners want them clearing. with every tom dick and harry wanting to shoot deer legal or not does not help the situation
  10. it will come back especially if all the carcasses are left exactly as the fox left them. I know it seems wrong to leave chickens with heads of etc but if you do he will return undisturbed. worked for me many times and I always tell landowners this before it has even happened, hopefully I solve the problem before lol
  11. for get all the rest, savage 93r17btvs you will not regret it
  12. as recreational stalkers, I think all this stuff about management of decent heads is virtually impossible. you may be selective with bucks and even does that produce twins etc. but if bob next door is grassing everything he sees what chance have you? I take what I think the ground can produce and am not interested in trophies. a lot of landowners are desperate for them to be removed and if you don't then someone else will, as with all wildlife control. I don't like this constant use of the word management when ever deer are to be controlled
  13. good day good pictures well done
  14. I take them off the Christmas cards they clog up as said earlier. but when you are doing thick long hedgerows with just long nets, they make life a lot easier
  15. never seen mixy so bad here. every patch I have done this season bar one or two has been hit by mixy now. started the season well October time. but December the mixy appeared everywhere. struggle to see how they are going to bounce back for next season
