Pretty much standard here always took ages

I waited 4 months for one for one with Avon and Somerset. Crazy when others are turning them round in a week

Nice little look out with the 410

Great job well done -
I have a t1x bought it when they first come out. You will not regret it. A guy I know cerakoated metal work and I put a laminate stock on it. Cracking little tool with pard 008 on top

We have been up on our shoot. Sorted electric fence up. A new gate on one pen and all feeders and gradually getting cleaned. Plenty to do. but as the situation is, a few of us can spare the time at the moment to get jobs done. We have told all our maturer syndicate members they don't have to do any work parties etc. But can just turn up and shoot this year. Which has given a few guys a lot to look forward to with the current situation.

Dog done well to catch that mate

I catch a few each year with the cages. Always try and bait before putting cage down. Been putting flooring over mesh as I have heard they don't like walking on mesh. Not sure if I am honest but don't think it does any harm. I also cover sides with what ever is lying about stops them trying to reach through mesh and triggering trap. Also only gives one entrance to see what's in. The cubs will always go in easy as they are naive. But I catch them during cold spells well when they are hungry. I make my own cages and find the bigger the better

I am positive that the shoots will go ahead. It is very worrying time but I think we all need to stay positive. It is a long way off before the start of the season. Hopefully this situation will change for the good by then. Providing we can put the work in to get things ready. I hope all of us get out to do what we enjoy so much and what benefits the countryside aswell.

Same here birds are ordered. May have to do a few weekends in a row to get things ready if and hopefully lockdown eases

I have tried nitesights, photons, pulsars, atn 4k, drones, pards and wards. Best dedicated is drone but closely followed by pard 008 at quarter of the price and half the size. Best digital add on ward by a long way although the pard 007are great value. With decent ir most of these will surprise you when set up correctly. I don't use all the apps, recording and technical stuff but I have found performance and value 008 is best in my opinion

Jeez that's a tough moggy

That's great numbers. I seem to have a regular flow on mine. But not big numbers. I have built fox boxes in surrounding fields and use bait to pull them away from sheds. Seems to be working as losses are lower. I regularly visit each week. But as farmer said you can't shoot that amount without it effecting. But he said he does not count his tens of thousands of chickens everyday either lol Just look forward to getting out soon. keep getting landowners sending me pictures of bucks etc

Shot one before lockdown from one of my fox boxes. Walked out picked him up. He had a shaved area on stomach but no signs of mange to be fair. Though it was slightly odd but chucked it on heap. Had one look back through thermal and there was another in exactly the first place I shot the last. Shot this one and as that may not seem that strange . I have not shot a fox off this patch for a month and I check it two nights a week. In the previous 18 months I have shot over 100 of there untill it slowed. Then two in one night completely changing the pattern and one with a large patch shaved?

Top job. I had a pair last night using vixen on heat
-
Had 85 in 18 months off the one I cover. But only rarely seeing more than one or two as I am there pretty much every week. Sat with thermal and pard. Very rarely call now as bait seems to be the draw where I want them. First few weeks I took it on it was overrun.
-
Great result there. Shows the difference in a few lads having a night out and a dedicated fixer. Got to admit I am surprised at the numbers this time of year. I cover a large chicken unit have built fox boxes there and bait the area. It certainly is one hell of a draw.

True that . let the first barrel off with snap caps in. Give it a bump on the butt pad and same trigger will release the other barrel. Very well made guns for the money.

Got a o/u 20 fully moderated. Very quiet with subsonics. Use it on a range of jobs from foxes in small woodland blocks.to rats and corvids in the farm yards. Very handy tool. Would not want to carry it all day though. Also make sure you strip and clean all parts barrel mod
