  1. heavy bowls secured on a wire mesh floor with a piece of baton either side to stop spilling or tipping. lift out to clean and just top up with watering can. no rotting hutches and decent supply of water all the time

  6. my hob you can only just get a collar round him but as you say in our area most of the work is done with longnets. if we do use him with purse nets it is a bit of pissing about but if they are there he will find them. how are you doing with mixy ? seems everywhere local at the moment
  7. I believe the name is a fouling round. the one shot after cleaning which as a rule shoots off then the rest go back to zero
  8. always wear them as said earlier a bit of a pain when they slip or twist. but to stop thorns and brambles going through your knees in the bottom of our lovely somerset hedgerows they are a all important bit of kit. I also use the trousers at work with the pads that slide up and as said earlier thease are excellent.

  11. also forgot to add we tie the jack russells up to the hedge which sends them back
  12. we use a combination of quick set long nets and stop nets as per cent of our ferreting down here is hedge rows. the short stop nets are great if we can get them through the hedges, this stop the rabbits bolting up and down. I have heard people say they use pieces of ply on really thick hedges where the nets cant be put through

  15. welcome aboard.my dad used to breed britanys great dogs hunt point and retrieve.there seems to be a fair bit to go at once the cover dies back and nets can be put down

  18. another vote for savage here. had mine years it replaced a sako quad and never looked back
  19. looks good when can I move in .well done plenty of room should last for years. Always better when you can source the wood, I always make my own so constantly on the look out for good material.

  21. I have a normal tall white fridge that I hang roe in, off the normal stainless s hooks from the shelving.
  22. magazine release is a bit odd but apart from that the best rimfire out there.you will not be disappointed.
