  1. First glance and SPAPR900W would get called "Sparrow" by me . I have mentioned this gun before with my RFD mate testing one at the range if you may remember ? He had nothing but praise for it and what you get for your money, saying that the lads found it very accurate ( one inch groups) and producing 10.5 ft/lbs with AA Fields .177 straight out of the box and would/ should, rise in power a tad, as you run it in somewhat. The lads said as a mid range hunter - just fine, they also said a little tinkering would transform i
  2. Compliments to you Si, nice shooting Handsome rifle there mate, too.
  3. Here`s the trees/ leaf growth this late afternoon in sunny Lancashire. The Oak trees still have plenty of leaves and surprisingly so do the Cherry, Plum and Apple trees.
  4. Yes mate, - it`s freezing over here as I watch, gonna be a cold night tonight You watch, tomorrow will be a breathless , sunny day while I`m working and then at the beloved dentist
  5. Ha! Ha! - gits I`m afraid Mitch`s weather forecast was spot on,- it never stopped raining until 2-40 pm this afternoon and so I never attempted the session . Back to the grindstone tomorrow so I`ll look for another day, soon I hope ? p.s. A gritter truck has just gone past spreading a heavy spread. atb Mark.
  6. "Hic" ! Cider is much tastier you know.
  7. Took a walk out late this afternoon and noticed how very quiet and void of wildlife the permission I was walking over was. I`ve been watching and noting times of the day when pigeons flight into the trees for rest before flying out again to feed. I`m using a few photos from last November here but nothing has changed at all, this is exactly the same this November. The natural hide is within the dense hedg

  9. Mac, forgive me if I`m wrong but the old HW 35 was short on power if I remember right but the HW 35 E (export) was full on the limit "ish" and walnut stocked. Is that correct lads ?
  10. I`d of had them all with his HM 1000 .20 Only saying " LIKE "
  11. Was the Sport not your cup of tea Si ? The Pro Sport is a lovely gun mind.
  12. Nice shooting and nice post mate. Shot placement is spot on Rez, just one of those days with the misses you had ? atb Tommy
  13. " Nothing" that would interest you, regrettably.
  14. Aye Micky? The colder months are the times a true air gun hunter learns his/ her trade. Nearly 50 years of air gun hunting with sub 12 rifles and " I never stop learning", especially in the colder months.
  15. I`ll show you mine if you want x
  16. I`ve been tempted to buy the mk4 myself Jon ( single shot) - a superb pcp rifle for serious hide work but the faultless magazine of the 100`s has always made me think that I would be very hard pressed to better a 100. The older Daystate rifles seem very good don`t they.
  17. Now that looks well built and that grouping is excellent. My mate uses a MK4 single shot and rarely misses. Good luck with it Jon
  18. Looks like that love heart emblem is the new like button lads and " not "any of the faces. Just learning
  19. Just testing the loading of a photo lads/ admin and the picture quality. Thinking of Mac`s leg
  20. Excellent grouping Matt - it does not get much better than that. ( try X 8 - 10 magnifications Matt) Mitch, how did the Express perform in your R10 ?
  21. Hit the spot with any calibre, its good night Vienna. .22 cal does help those that can`t shoot accurately enough to use a .177, so I hear.
