Zbroia, a name to look out for!
mark williams replied to secretagentmole's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Everything we say is opinion/ individual experience Jimmy I know I already own FWB Sports and a TX 200 HC MK3 .177 the best springers ( in my opinion) but that doesn`t mean I wouldn`t own an inferior one " as back up" so yeah I would add a 97ks or kt, or even the Pro Sport to my spring collection. x PCP wise, the HW 100 is by far the best pcp in any format, ( in my opinion). -

Shooting upwards precisely and hold under.
mark williams posted a topic in General Airgun Discussion
One or three members have asked me about hold under and hold over when shooting static elevated shots when I`m after the likes of wood pigeons. I know lads use Chair gun and some use range finders with an " incline" function - not for me lads, that`s way to techno` for me . I like things simple and easy. Hold under is required to shoot upwards AND downwards, angles, distances velocity are all part of the calculations - I`m lost already . Here`s what I do. Most shots are taken at 9- -

Best zero ranges for .177 and .22 Walshie ? And all other questions too ? Thank you -
Thank you in advance
-
No Matt, I always use a 38 yd zero with the .177 and 28 yds with the .22. The 38 yd zero keeps me inside the 1 inch kill zone from 16 yds to 38 yds . I was going to suggest - check out " best zero ranges for both .177 and .22" in the search engine but for some reason the search engine is playing up on me. Sorry about the pigeon heads

Well, me and my best mate got a nice two and a half hours in again this afternoon, in one of the natural hides, using the HW 100 KT .177. Here`s the hide view again, the canopy is closing in nicely now. Kaiser retrieving to hand - just for Rez and Matt - look how proud he is, trotting back with his bird . Finally lads - He wanted to pose atb Mark. p.s. I`ll be switching back to the classic hunting next with the 1970`s FWB Sports - I love the challenge they bring.

Compliments to you lads. Nice shooting.

Try a chicken tikka Phal Si, they are nice and mild , one of my favourites x

out of thanks lads So thank you

A much easier time of year with the leaves missing. Full leaf suit tight up against the hedge line behind a none natural hide that I roofed over with more camo hessian and netting Range was 36 yards to 41 yards, the HW 100 KT .177 was faultless

I`ve said it once and I`d like to say it again, that photo of Steg`s is stunning and if there was such a thing as " THL Photo Of The Year" this would surely be one of them. Compliments to you Steg. Mark.

Here`s the two point Primos gun rest at work this last summer. She might be laying on the ground in the photo but her legs were open when I " used her" . .
-
Jon, treat yourself to the " Two point" gun rest addition for your Primos Only about £40 " ish" but what a transformation You think the primos sticks are a " cracking bit of kit" ? Then put the two point gun rest on top,- takes static hunting to a different level, spring rifle or pcp. You " must" open her legs to fully appreciate her Jon.

Well lads I was out of the dentist`s chair for 1-15 pm with my bravery sticker So how should I spend the next hour and a half I wonder ? Back to work, or shooting - Shooting won, wind was bad though but the HW 100 KS .22 got another run out, as did I . atb Mark.
-
Lads, thinking about the F1 Chrony Chronograph ? My family keep asking, " what would you like for Christmas Dad" ? Are these as good as I read ? £109-99 is the price. Thanks.
