  1. There`s no room for young or old on my permissions If the farmers saw me letting a young wood pigeon off, they would tell me to "off" with a capital F. The crops come first.
  2. Nice dog U. I love a game dog A little bit of a tangent U but we were talking about the SMK 900 a few days back, - do you happen to know the power of your 900,- is it running at 10.5 ft/lbs or maybe a tad higher ? Thanks mate.
  3. They remind me of a few of my ex`s yer Twat. Please forgive the pun
  4. Primos, jim shokeye gen` 2 tripod is a superb platform for all types of shooting.( air rifles for me) Just buy the once, - superb for hide shooting too.
  5. Nice shooting Rez, I`ve got to agree with the lads, that " future" V Mach 98 of "mine" does look a proper bit of kit Proper calibre too Again, nice shooting mate. Tommy. p.s. The orb is back - picture 1
  6. Well I`ve given all my rifles a session on the pigeons except for my HW 100 KS .22 , so out it went today for a good 4 hours. Visiting birds and presentations were slow today but I must say lads, credit were it`s due, the Falcon Accuracy Plus pellet/ HW 100 combination made very short work of the presentations I got. Those Falcon`s are deadly accurate and really hit home " hard" ! ( Thanks for the nudge Mitch ) atb Mark.
  7. Great post Matt, photos and excellent shooting Your new permission looks outstanding mate. Compliments
  8. Oh yes, I hadn`t noticed that, no not his ball,- he is crossing a footpath just there though. What I find a little different is the orb in the fifth photo, " BOO" !
  9. Wonderful collection of all types of air rifle there John - compliments to you. A question I must ask you, if you will allow,- Which are your favourites and why ?
  10. Put the 100 to work today after giving her a zero check. She is on a perfect zero at 38 yards. I went back to one of my favourite natural hides, - range, 38 yards. Here`s the view I have before the camo netting is raised up. Here`s an adjoining tree. Kaiser retrieving to hand Come on lad ! Well done ! Poser ! A nice testing session lads. When Kaiser has been in a hide, he hasn`t worked much, so again tonight on landing home I take him straight out for an hour on a
  11. I`ve a mate uses the excalibre, he loves it. Good luck with it Tom, lovely pcp . p.s. I`ve tried to find one in .177 but it`s nigh on unheard of.
  12. We use a 12 inch deep concrete base panel and packers placed between panel and base to around a half inch clearance.
  13. Why is your fence panels stood over another fence post laid flat ? Is it a fence post even ? Mitch is correct by the way, especially cheap fence panels that haven`t been treated yet ? Just saying x
  14. Which oil, if any, should be applied to a stock like this lads, please ?

  16. Good luck mate, I`m looking forward to your thoughts on this when your ticket is through. Have you any idea of which rifle you might go for yet ? atb Mark.
  17. All the rifles mentioned will shoot better than most of us. I`d have thought. The finger on the trigger is the difference between them all and people`s preferences.

  19. No I don`t do HFT jimmy, as you know but the sport sure finds out the good from the bad. Again, " for me", I prefer the TX 200 but best of luck to anyone using any other rifle.
  20. I`ve owned, albeit a short spell, the Master Pro. Yes, I would agree with Charlie and yourself over the Walther internals and smoothness but ( for me) "the TRex don`t half put the pellet where I want it to go". Granted, my T Rex has been to Rat Works and benefited greatly for it`s tune/ short stroke but it all boils down to opinions and results Good luck with the 97 Jimmy, - I hope they win as many HFT world championships as the TX 200 one day x
  21. I`m with Mac on this one To go a step further though, I keep and use 5 rifles' Two HW 100`s, .177 and .22 Two classic springers FWB Sports 124 and 127, .177 and .22 respectively. One modern springer the TX 200 HC mk3 .177. If I was you , I would carry two pcp`s of differing calibre, same with springers. Go back to the old spring rifle for a month or so and watch your shooting abilities/ marksmanship improve then they`ll soar when you revert back to pcp. Never happens the ot
