  1. .177 KS that`s gagging for some oil. That grain is beautiful Jimmy and just waiting to come out. Glad you are now sorted mate, hell of a rifle as you know atb Mark
  2. Top shooting Billy atb Mark.
  3. Nice write up Jimmy. Is Sean`s Vulcan F.A.C ? I`ve owned a HW 100 KT and KS over 5 years now and never even thought about changing them, stick to where your confidence is at it`s best mate. Again, great write up and excellent shooting lads. atb Mark.
  4. Similar sort of thing ? Pre war King bb gun ?
  5. Hi LJ. My .177 cal`HW 97K is producing groups like this with JSB Exact Express 4.52, 7.87g . Very hard hitting too . Twelve shot group well under a 5p, - great pellet in the 97`s. We used the RWS Hobby flat headed ( wadcutters) 11.9 g, .22 cal` on rats for years and years.( devastating pellet for ratting) A very destructive , very accurate pellet at sub 12/ft lbs " under 25/ 30 yards", after 25/ 30 yards accuracy became poor.
  6. Just stay patient and save up a touch more. Then go and buy a HW 100 in any format of your choice " brand new " - very hard to better.
  7. These 97`s never stop pleasing me, fabulous hunting rifles. Here`s a spot i often see a squirrel or two. Ranged to 47 yards. Beneath this small copse is a bubbling brook and some very muddy banks. I took two squirrels, one retrieved one lost from this brook. Have mercy lads i did try dunking it in the river to clean it up some By the way, the JSB Exact Express 4.52 , 7.87 g were really taking these squirrels hard and extremely accurately right out to the 47-50 yds. atb Mark.
  8. Nice shooting Jimmy. Your turn to win the night atb Mark.
  9. Beautiful job lads . " Proper friends "- credit to you. atb Mark.
  10. Went to put my first Squirrel feeder up tonight lads and thought it rude not to take the Pro Sport along with us. Once the feeder was in place, myself and Kaiser settled in by some small conifers to wait and see what was about the big sitty trees. Full leaf suit on and these were taken with heart/ lung shots to 41 yds, instant dispatch. atb Mark.
  11. Cheers, Whichever spring rifle turns my head on the day mate, i love being lucky enough to have several choices
  12. Put in position today lads. My first attempt mind, so have patience yer set of twats. I see a few squirrels around this area, so i`ve set the box here. See the flags stood on edge, well if you look at the poly tunnel there are two small trees in buckets, that will be where my blind will be - approx 22 yds, if that proves too close i can easily set up further back between the tunnels. ( I like to get close if i can ). The feeder box is approx` 6 ft high, with a log screwed into position. Waiting game now.
  13. I got into a long conversation with Phil from Rat Works when i took my TX to him. He considers the S200 " The most underrated" pcp and said it can be improved to such an extent that they become one of the most desirable pcp`s. atb Mark.
  14. Just this one to learn my way a little Rez
  15. Here`s how a " proper air rifle " should look.
  16. That`s the new Klingon cloaking camo` but i didn`t get the scope done in time Wait `til Jimmy cloaks, oops clocks that atb Mark
  17. Well, i have`nt mentioned it but i sent the FWB 124 off to a well known gun smith - Lyn Lewington, over in Caldicot, Monmouthshire. She`s having a V-Mach engine fitted along with a tweak to the trigger. The top rifle is the 124, bottom rifle is the 127. One of the lads off this forum has just got three FWB Sport rifles back and says they now very much remind him of the Venom Eighty shot cycle - nice. I notice a few lads are shooting V-Mach rifles on here Sh
  18. From what i was told Chris` Walther sell the Master Pro rifle with the option of with open sights or without open sights. They don`t, or did not, when i bought one, sell the stocks without the cut so basically if you opt for without open sights on your rifle you`ll see the router cut anyway ( cheap that Walther ) Yes Phil, i agree, the weight issue attracted me more so as most of my sub 12 hunting is static as you know. atb Mark.
  19. Have you forgot i shipped the Master Pro on Rez ? Not like you to forget . You won`t go far wrong with the Master Pro Chris, they are fine rifles. The trigger was not my cup of tea, nor the general finish but the internals/ shot cycle was something else. ( really excellent ). I`ve been/ am, on somewhat of a quest trying to make my mind up as to which spring rifle is best suited to me and the hunting field and as you can see by my avatar it`s a bit of a quest deciding . Going back to the MP, i
  20. Well lads, here`s my first attempt at making a feeder,- stop yer laughing Twats Good fun using ya odds and sods up from around the yard. Note the black steel plate to stop the pellets after shooting any squirrels. Good fun making that acme/ patented feeder. atb Mark.
  21. Don`t forget to try one of those bbq`d scorpions on a skewer. Twat " Enjoy"
  22. I`ve read using a slow cooker helps beginners tenderize their cheap " little cuts" of meat . Try it Mitch - no more complaints for you maybe ?
  23. Little old Jewish lady walking back home with her husbands ashes in an urn. She lifts the lid, peers in and says - Hymee, remember that gold chain i always wanted ? She produces the chain around her neck and laughs aloud, " Ha! Ha! Haa" ! After another half mile along the country lane, she lifts the lid and says, - Hymee, remember that fur coat i always wanted ? " She lifts the collar of her fur coat to the open urn, Ha!, Ha! Haa " ! The old lady reaches the gate to her cottage, birds are singing, breeze is blowing, flowers are swaying, - she l
