    I am fairly sure that the TX and Pro Sport carry Minnelli Gun stocks and Walther barrels ? Are the pcp`s the same ? Mark.

    I know i`ve mentioned the HW 100`s but when you think about it, no matter the air gun because the large CRACK ! when a pellet strikes the brain box and the surrounding vermin scatters kind of cancels things out ? Just a thought atb Mark.

    You beat me to it Dave . Well Mitch has been to my house having shooting lessons "again" on Squirrel heads. I`ve tried hard to get him to shoot a sprin -- shhh , proper rifle, instead of a puffer cannon but alas he is not quite confident enough just yet. He is however managing to hit the fence with a sprin, shhhh, proper rifle now after several thousands of tins of pellets/ lessons You must admit, even using a puffer cannon there is now some improvement, albeit very slight.     Very rare that my HW 100`s action has spooked vermin. You hear many actions at work at the ranges and the HW`s are certainly up there with the best of them. Very reliable guns too Tench. atb Mark

    Joking aside Mitch, i have absolutely no problem with FAC air, - promise you. Each to their own and all that Got to admit though, slightest thing i say about the subject you 4 rise like a sack of rattle snakes , it can be absolutely hilarious at night with my tin of apple juice .     I own an early mk2 full length 77 in .177 cal. Been doing a little homework of late and found out that if the serial number on your old 77 is less than 1301036 it will be the sought after 25mm compression tube. Serial numbers after 1301036 will be the 26mm compression tube. Do watch out for pre - 1301036 compression tubes on newer models though.     Shooting John I used to shoot feral pigeons for my local parish churches many moons ago. You won`t believe the permissions offered to you going this route, especially from church congregations I was just 17 yrs old when i started on the church pest control BSA Mercury .22 by the way.     My reply of why not encourage the lad to shoot a 12 ft/lbs springer as it takes far more skill/ field craft blah, blah, blah It`s like waving a red flag in a bull ring on here at times with some FAC shooters.

    As a guess Jeff, that police decision may probably stay with your mate for a long time, sorry to say. Depression , firearms , Police is not going to happen mate. The Police are just doing their job Jeff. You could encourage your mate to go, or stick with sub 12 ft/lbs, spring if poss` and become a "true air rifle hunter". Far more demand of personal field craft and shooting skills required ..( in my humble opinion ). atb Mark.
