    Firstly, skin them correctly. Secondly, just drop them, portioned, into a deep fat fryer, American style . That simple and boy are they nice ! My Son and his girlfriend loves them. Better than fried chicken. atb Mark.

    Hows that mk1 trigger Jamie ? As far as i know, Vortek still do not do anything for FWB Sports but the lads i know with the V Mach internals installed say the gun is transformed ?

    Well the old lady, a classic, 1986, mk2 HW77 went out again today. I was after an annoying Magpie that likes to land on one of the sitty trees about 8am and 3pm screeching loudly, daily. Brian, the nursery owner, challenged me to shoot him just yesterday Here`s the easy blind in place, Kaiser will be behind it with me in full leaf suit. Here`s a well zeroed , Classic full length HW77, .177 on duty Both headshot at 41 yds lased. atb Mark.

    Talking about drawing pins, looks like i`m practicing today No grit on the road, traffic at a standstill ( just for a change). and roofing is a little bit dangerous on a day like today me thinks . Ah well, Snow ball fight with my fiery tempered sons later

    Far too much gone on for there to be no truth in the matter. HW with a 100/ 110 after it, in any format takes an awful lot of bettering ! All down to personal preference which 100 ( +) you buy, that`s the only difference. atb Mark.

    Mixed bag with the classic HW 77 MK2 full length .177, ( 1986 ) . The rifle carries a lovely stage 2 Sandwell Field Sports tune. atb Mark.

    Geoff` the head keeper always encouraged me to think " beware one man one rifle" and as a youth to this day, nearly half a century that has been a mk1 FWB Sport . My love of the classic FWB sees me sending the 124 away this week or so for a little work. I do own two 100`s but truthfully i only ever reach for them when a " must do" job is asked for and even then i may very easily take one of my spring rifles. All other shooting is spring rifles , both classic and modern.

    I got out late yesterday afternoon lads and thoroughly enjoyed the session, that`s all that matters. The TX was deadly accurate, just one of two presentations, the other was a Magpie that was not retrievable because of glass covered ground. atb Mark.

    Here`s the legendary MK 1 FWB Sport 124 ( 177) 1978. July rabbits in 2017. Admin - i went to classic hunting, went new topic, set the above up, then posted, - same problem as HW 77 the other day Walshie. Reply to this topic is fine. Start a new topic seems to post back in the air gun hunting section. P.S Big thank you to admin for starting to set up a classic hunting / air rifles sections.
