Could work, my staff has an unnerving ability to find pheasant in woodland, I can call her from anything except pheasant. Only problem is that she thinks she can fly

It strikes me that there are a couple of truths that are relevant, not leaving dogs and babies has been mentioned and is so true, also peoples choice of first dog, a newly passed driver wont be getting a high performance sports car as there first car, its less forgiving and beyond their experience, if they do they will probably crash. Its the same with dogs, everything is probability and there is never a "never" but people who have no or little dog experience should start with a less demanding, highly strung, driven or combatative breed, its just common sense. My very first dog as a boy we got

They have an industry equivalent waterproof/breathable lining called sympatex. I guess its the manufacturer that blackhawk deals with.

The biggest change I see with youngsters is in the way that society puts the idea into their head................................that its always someone else fault. Not taking responsibility for your actions is almost encouraged at school now, this is not just me getting old, I have a 15 year old boy and they are taught that they have the right to respect, that's fine with me, the problem is that they take no responsibility for their actions at all. Its mums, dads, nans, a friends, their pet budgie or the ghost in the cupboards fault. It drives me nuts. I cant trust my boy in the house on his

Just a few pics and a quick write up on the these boots: They cost £130 and so far have been absolutely fantastic Have only done about 500 miles so far, the ankle support is good, I weigh about 14.5 stone and more than enough support. Most of my walking goes up and then down, no rubbing on the toes on steep ground which i am happy with as the front is very rigid with a double thickness of 2.5mm leather on the front and rear. Grip is excellent on wet chalk, mud on chalk and wet grass as is waterproofing, they have kept me dry and upright in chalk streams. They

My concern is that the we will pay for the acts of the clinically stupid, not just financially, if these attacks keep happening legislation will come in that effects all dog owners, not just the dim ones. Its happened before and it will happen again, we live in a state with so many rules because of the idiotic minority. Gun laws, knife laws, rules around crossbows are there because of the few that you wouldnt trust with a pea shooter but we all pay the price. I just find it tragic when it comes to dogs, this country has a proud heritage with dogs, recorded from at least celtic times when our d

I have one dog and a one eyed parrot at the moment called Bilbo. He was on the telly once and because he is from Portsmouth they called him Nelson When I lived with my parents many years ago I had 9 ferrets, 4 snakes and 2 tarantulas....................in my bedroom , 2 dogs and 2 cats in the house, 5 hens and an OEG cockerel called Monty in the garden. We lived in a normal terraced house but I had a big bedroom

Its really simple, don't leave a dog, any dog alone with a baby. Just like any one of us who is an easy going bloke can be in a sh*t mood and snap at people, so can the friendly family pet. Don't take the chance, ever.

fantastic, lucky they weren't French lops, she would have been torn to pieces. -
The nature of the immigrant to these shores has changed. The older immigrants came here to work, make something of themselves and most importantly wanted to fit in. Now things have changed, we are the go to place for good free health care, a benefits system and most dangerously of all, a liberal human rights ran country that is prime for exploitation by those that have no regard for human rights or life, if you don't agree with their religion, they want you dead. We have a generation of unemployed and disenfranchised youth that are prime recruits for the evil, mind twisting extremist f*** wits

Spot on Pete, the man respects the animal and no bragging, just a sincere respect for the creature and he would have been at risk, a tiger could be right beside you in long grass and you would not even know it and they take fully grown water buffalo, a human would be a real easy kill. This man had the material to brag and did he..................no, this is the type of hunter that I truly respect, the type of man that I respect

The temptations to stay in are greater now, you have the X-box live type thing were kids can "socialise" over the net whilst being Ronaldo or a navy SEAL. As a kid if I wanted to talk to my mates it was my bike or the phone box I have taken my lad into the country and have taught him how to fish since he was 5, which is when I met him. He used to walk 10 miles plus no probs and do night fishing in winter. When he was about 12, that was it, he totally lost interest. Its all the sanitised stuff he wants now, I've offered to teach him to spearfish, but he says he prefers the swimming pool. My da

I go out of my way to avoid high dog walking areas and times if I can.................the problem dosen't seem to be getting any better. In my experience its not the chav's that are the main problem.......... you have the £200 but no idea wellie brigade that somehow seem to turn any lab or spaniel aggressive and the my little johny can do what he wants brigade. I had a boxer once, german bred, he was huge for a boxer, I mean huge. In public he was on a lead, an attack by a GSD as a pup turned him, so he was dog aggressive. Was out one day, this GSD starts coming over, a pup, about 8 months I

All this cycling hatred, probably an irrational deep set fear developed in childhood by those who didn't have the mental and physical ability to ride a bike ....................................... If someone rides their bike because they wanna stay fit or get fit and they follow the rules of the road and they are polite, what's the problem Also different aspects of cycling have and will, help some youngsters that would have failed academically, make a success of their lives in all different ways. To say that all cyclists are c***s is like saying that all white van drivers are obnoxious arseh

I cycle a lot, everyday to work on the roads and when I can fit it in, mountain biking at centres or on trails like the southdowns way. I get really p*****d when cyclists break the basic rules of the road, going through red lights etc. Then theres the teenagers at school kick out time, they assume its there God given right for cars to stop as they cycle across the road! Cyclists abusing their position on the road is a reason that accidents happen. As a cyclist I have to say that the vast majority of road users do give cyclists respect, to be honest the closest I ever came to being wiped out wa

To Those Who Have Ever Wondered What A Real Man Is...

The Tigers can also thank the eastern oriental medicine, didn't you realise that tiger penis turns you into a sexual tyranasaurus..........................................FFS. Like the other one of my personal hates, shark fin soup, catch a shark cut his fins off and dump him into the sea alive..................................unbelievable.

Every bloody day I ride the bike to work, its getting a bit much to be honest. Today, I had the s***s and was throwing up at lunch time, some kind of bug and the ride home in the wind and rain was a real struggle. I love getting out and about in all weathers but its just beginning to push me into insanity. Ride to work, work, ride home from work, out with me dog for two hours and then home to exercise. I'm gonna have to slow down, my older body just struggles these days, or just buy a boat and cruise to work

Angora Fur.... Anybody Else Find This Hard To Watch? ....

Whenever I see something like that my respect for humanity diminishes a little bit more. We have the intellect to go to the moon, treat cancer, go to the deepest ocean trench. We have the ability to do so much good but what do we do with the gift of intellect, We kill each other with ruthless efficiency, we are ruthlessly cruel. Whether a genuine video or not, what worries me is that a human at this stage in our intellectual evolution can do something like this. Technologically we have come a long way, no doubt, but how far have we actually come. I do wonder sometimes. -
We are kept amused just enough to not see the big picture. Its the opium of the masses stuff. Our newspapers are full of pointless celebrity gossip and people follow celebrities on big brother etc, watching and following absolute pointless trivia. Spare time is spent in a chemical haze and watching sports men who get paid an absolutely obscene amount of money while the truth is ignored.......................the truth that we really are just gogs in the machine, making money for the super rich. Its nothing new, the vast majority have always toiled away for the benefit of the super rich and prob

Unfortunately, theres a job in this country that is the most responsible and important job anyone can ever do and that anyone of any ability, even the most idiotic and moronic individual that has ever walked the face of the planet is allowed to do. Some through desire and who would be great at the job never get the chance to do it and some who struggle with the very concept of responsibility get to do it over and over again with free abandon, causing a trail of devastation in their wake...........................PARENTING, please for God sake, if you know deep down that you are unable or two s
