    I worked on a S.London council estate for 4 years or so, back in the early '90s and i feared for the future back then ! Rubbish everywhere, high unemployment, huge crime and drug problems, burnt out cars, lifts that double as toilets, the list goes on.....it's horrific.! Putting to one side who you think is to blame,what worries me is that the youngsters growing up in these war zones are the next generation - the ones we have to pass the torch to in the very near future. I don't watch programmes like this, because they just reinforce the feeling of 'God help us!'

    I'm with Eat4 - I shoot like this whenever I can. very comfortable and if it's muddy or wet, take something to sit on. I've got an old rubber car mat kept for just this use.

    sorry but.............. That's a bit harsh Lurcher ! That was someone's pet. My wife has 3 tiny JRT crosses - now I'm not at all sentimental about animals, but I know she would be devastated if one of them was attacked like this. I'm sure most owners would feel the same, whatever breed you happen to have.

    I've got a Mastiff X Rottie bitch and Mrs.B has 3 very small JRT crosses. I suppose if it came to it,they'd keep her going for a couple of days !!

    It's true - Islam forbids the keeping of dogs. They are regarded as unclean and the keeper loses part of his heavenly reward for each day he keeps the animal. Must make airports a bit tricky for them with all those sniffer dogs ! Me and my brother-in-law once got into an epic scrap when his dog took a dump right outside his local mosque.
