  1. I think the scene where the hounds find the fawn is one of the most remarkable things I've seen ever !
  2. Charismatic TV star, loved by generations, with his own show and unlimited access to children..........no wonder Sooty's keeping his head down !
  3. Some people are so lucky ! In my 50 years, I've never even sat on a horse.
  4. If anyone hasn't already seen this documentary, it's repeated on Horse & Country (Sky 280) tonight at 10pm. Fascinating and well worth a watch !
  5. Most recent reference to him that I could find was this..... http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/entertainment/tv-radio/royal-intruder-michael-fagan-blasts-1117801 ....but it doesn't really answer Pat's question.
  6. You learn something every day - cheers General !
  7. I'm only hitting 1 &1/2 inch groups at 25 yards, with RWS Super H-point, so in a quest for better accuracy, I've bought some Superdomes instead. I know that you're supposed to clean, re-lead then re-zero, but as the H-points are the first pellets fired through the barrel, would it do any harm to change pellets without cleaning it out and see what happens, or is it always best to start again from scratch ? (On a side - track, is there a pellet which is generally accepted to have the best accuracy ?) Thanks , guys !
  8. That and the fact that it's clearly b*****ks ! dont let the muslims hear that.............. As if I care what they think...!
  9. Thanks General, but why "leopard" ? Do you know if the dog still exists in it's original form ?
  10. What the f*** is a Catahoula leopard dog ??? Is it similar to an Abyssinian Wirehaired Tripe Hound?? (I've got a dog that's a cross between a Rottweiler and Lassie. He rips your throat out then fetches help ! )
  11. Funny you should mention NRA. Their new president made a speech yesterday, describing his members as "soldiers in a cultural war". Perhaps that's how we should see ourselves.....?
  12. Seems to have worked well for them, up til now Big G !!
  13. That and the fact that it's clearly b*****ks !
  14. Maybe there is a case for providing anonymity until or unless the accused is found guilty - a legal privilege already extended to alleged victims. John Leslie, Craig Charles, Louis Walsh and Matthew Kelly (to name a handful) were all pilloried by the press and had their names dragged through the mud - Leslie and Kelly being pretty much ruined - only for the allegations to be later dropped, or to be found not guilty. Perhaps this almost non-stop stream of allegations is creating the atmosphere of a witch - hunt ? Don't get me wrong - I believe that,if found guilty, offenders should be puni
  15. "....prominent gay rights campaigner..." Hasn't done his campaign a lot of good, I wouldn't have thought !
  16. I dunno - at the time there were only 3 or 4 channels, and now Coronation Street is looking decidedly dodgy. To be fair, it is the most interest I have ever shown for Corrie - I hate soaps ! What about that business with Len Fairclough ? (Lara's too young to remember!) Never watched any soaps - so I have no idea who Len is ! I have just Corrie mentioned on the news for the 2 current ones ! Len was Rita from the Kabin's first husband - before she married the bloke who died of cancer and the one who got run over by a Blackpool tram. (Not that I ever watch it, you understand.)

  18. @Walshie - I have to say that was my initial reaction. Surely the police don't give a flying f*** who docked our dog's tail (and ArsePCA are too busy pursuing pointless, expensive lawsuits anyway.)
  19. My wife got her new pup the other day - a JRT cross she's named Charlie- which turned out to have been bred in Ireland. Anyhow, she took him to the vet today for his 1st jab and the vet went off on one - asking who docked his tail (done in Ireland), have we got a certificate and all that. She said if the police or ArsePCA stopped us and we couldn't produce a docking certificate, we could be prosecuted ! She went banging on for 10 minutes or more ! I'm not worried, but Mrs.Briar was very upset by the prospect of possibly losing one of her beloved little dogs. To cut to the chas

Oh yes! i remember the swimming lesson story. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/andrewmcfbrown/100202977/this-isnt-the-first-time-a-coronation-street-star-has-faced-potentially-career-destroying-allegations/ TC Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.......
  21. I'm worried cos my Mum used to work at Players and I've got an Auntie Val ! her husbands name wher`nt pete was it ... His name's Frank (thank God)
