  1. I think you've answered your own question Kemperz, when you say it feels better on singles. A bit like a rifle, if you're not happy with the set - up, if it doesn't 'feel right', then it's probably not ! Hope the rain lets up soon, so you can try it out !
  2. Just checked online sources - they aint cheap, are they ?
  3. As above, I'm most consistent at 30/35 yards. I can hit a target at 45, but I wouldn't feel comfortable hunting at that range. "A good man knows his limitations......"

I had a mate who was an atheist Jehovah's Witness - he just knocked on doors for no reason.........................
  5. You might find something on here................. https://www.ifixit.com/
  6. " I hope I give you the 5hits, you fukkin' wimp !" - love that bit !!
  7. Can't beat a good zombie film, I reckon, but the current Mrs BB prefers the supernatural type horror, but we've got shelves full of all types ! Done well, even comedy horror is good - Zombieland for instance.......................... we both laughed out loud at 'Tucker and Dale vs Evil'.
  8. You seen the price of chips these days.......? (I meant they're much cheaper then I thought, mate )
  9. Forgot to mention that I shoot a springer which, I believe makes a bipod a non-starter (?) Thanks for the tips so far fellas !
  10. I'm not a lover of shooting prone - if I'm honest it's mostly because I'm 15 stone which makes it quite uncomfortable (the rocking motion makes me sleepy, not to mention difficult to get up from at my age !). However, I know it's a valuable position from the point of view of concealment, stealth, stability etc, so it's something I'd like to be better at, if I can. Also, my club is starting True Hunter competitions this autumn, which I'd like to take part in. Any tips on shooting comfortably (I already have a padded mat), and , more importantly, accurately, as generally I struggle to h
  11. Flipper_Al's the man BH !
  12. PS - my Mum's Scottish. Please don't tell her about my last 2 comments - she'll kill me !
  13. If you lot get independence there definitely won't be many English moving up there, infact any jock with any talent, money or brains will move here. Not expecting a massive influx then ?
  14. Do you realise you've just bought a tenament in Easterhouse ?
  15. 3 of ours are JRT and we also have a terrier cross (probably Border). Can't go far wrong with the terriers IMO - JRT, Border, Patt, Yorkie - so many to choose from. Small and manageable, terrific companions, good little watchdogs, walk for miles, tough little bu99ers and eat anything that sits still - what's not to like ? One small request - PLEASE give some serious thought to a rescue dog. Whatever you decide, good luck in your search, Gnash !
  16. PC World - got to be careful what you say in there........................... I've only been in a few times - seems to be staffed by spotty teenagers with knots in their ties bigger than a Premiership footballer !
  17. I want it now,I want it now.Not promises of what tomorrow brings.I need to live in dreams today - I'm tired of the song that sorrow sings......

  18. 3 pages and you reckon no-one knows ! No pleasing some.................................
  19. Thanks, mate. I was hoping L7 had made it himself - I was going to ask him really, really nicely............ but never mind !
  20. Love the catty H ! How much would something like that set me back....................?
  21. We've got 4 small terriers and a Mastiff X - they're currently on F&T Rice and Duck, but they LOVE the Ruff and Ready best.
  22. No it's not ! .................. but thanks for the input Atom.
  23. You're right Atom ! I checked again and I quoted the wrong figure - my mistake, apologies for the confusion. But they will still be faster and more accurate even at a little over 3.5g............? Will the trajectory be flatter ? (Is all this similar to a .177 pellet versus a heavier .22 ?)
  24. I started taking it more seriously, like you, when I took the catty on the daily dog walk. I'll take a pop at Coke tins and plastic bottles that the inconsiderate leave lying around - it's good practise. I'll even find a quiet spot and put a couple in a tree to fire at !
  25. We haven't got a Wilko here (!), but I'll keep my eyes open on my travels.
