Me too, Tomo ! The police widely broadcast that the boy was critically ill, had a battery-powered feeder (or medication device) which was in imminent danger of running out and that his health was such that doctors feared for the boy's survival - ALL COMPLETELY UNTRUE ! Hampshire police have admitted that this (mis)information was untrue and was included solely to secure the issue of an international arrest warrant against two people who, they now admit, may not have actually broken any laws ! Disgraceful !

*BUMP* (disguised with a relevant joke...................) Once I worked in a supermarket for a few months. As I was scanning a chap's goods I said "Would you like a bag for these?" He replied "Only if it degrades !" So I picked up a marker pen and wrote on it 'The man carrying this bag is a useless, smelly hippy twat !' -
I've worked for a couple of the major furniture retailers over the years - won't mention names, but it's the same story at them all. Tell you anything you need to hear to secure a sale - and yes, I mean up to and including outright lies ! Word of warning - the extended warranties aren't worth the paper they're written on. Don't EVER buy them! The sales force push them for their own benefit. They make large commissions on each one sold. Check if accidental damage is covered on your house insurance !

Are you suggesting that we are not experiencing global warming and climate change? I'm saying it's warm in the summer and cold in the winter, as it has always been. We've just had the wettest August in 7 years, which tells me we've had 6 intervening August that weren't terribly wet ! I know that most of the 'evidence' for global warming came from the University of East Anglia, and has recently been utterly discredited, so I suppose I'll have to go in the 'don't know' column - at least for now ! I see rifles as tools to do a job - as long as they do their job, that's the first and foremost. If it doesn't do it's job, doesn't matter how pretty it looks ! There's a chap at my club who made a couple of stocks from 3/8 ply sheets for 2 SMK's that he bought for next to nowt. I was , to say the least, sceptical when he told me, but now I've seen the results, I know that a turd CAN be polished (if only to a small extent !) It's not my cup of tea, but if you have some fun with it, that's brilliant - if you can make a few quid on it, even better ! Good luck, mate ! -
