I honestly believe that the day is fast approaching when fence - sitting will no longer be an option. You will either have to actively resist the interlopers, or accept their tyranny. Islam is not a religion or a race. It is a political dogma hell-bent of domination, by any means necessary. It condones beheading, paedophilia, child brides, 'honour' killings, public beatings and domestic violence. How do they know..... They have aircraft with hi res imaging equipment, they have signals intelligence, they have human intelligence, they have SFs relaying real time intelligence. Unlikely - him and a few others having only been arrested for 'belonging to a proscribed organisation' - tricky to prove, as proscribed organisations tend not to have memberships cards. As far as prison is concerned, he is more likely to radicalise a number of other prisoners. All that's really achieved is to disrupt their activities for a while.

They'll get to you soon enough, don't you fret - they spread faster than Utterly Butterly ! The laws against 'radicals' like Anjem Choudry, Saleem Begg and other traitorous vermin have got to be strengthened. We are also facing a growing threat from home-grown extremist converts like Mikaeel Ibrahim. I don't see any point in our fine young men and women risking their lives over there, while we allow IS apologists and supporters to spread their poisonous propaganda back here ! We can't yet call it a 'war', but we definitely need a Home Front !

Can I say that, as an ex-smoker, I'm all in favour of them ! I don't mind if they're used right next to me, indoors even. The vapour doesn't bother me in the slightest, but fag smoke makes me feel ill, so I think they're a great development in loads of ways !

Think about it if things were the other way round. If someone knocked on your door and said 'Is it OK if I walk around your back garden with a loaded gun ?' what would you say ? It's a long hard road, mate, and you have to put the legwork in. I moved here a year ago, and I'm still getting the door shut in my face. Keep your eyes and ears open and explore every avenue. I was on about a stray cat really. We don't get fox problems they can't get over the fence. I'm not going to shoot a cat before anyone says anything, I was just asking experienced people on here incase there's a loop hole in the law or something saying if a mangy thing comes on your land your entitled to get rid or something. If you take pot shots at someones pet, you'll find yourself in a world of 5hit very quickly ! Even if it's definitely a stray, a cat is defined as 'property' in law - you have no right to shoot it. As you're 'new to all this', it's probably best and easiest to stick to the species and conditions listed on the General License. If there was an animal large enough to endanger pets (I guess you mean a fox?), there are more specialised, experienced and better-equipped shooters who can deal with them safely and humanely.
