  1. You need the trust of your colleagues to be a leader - so that's Gove done for ! Stephen Crabb -too inexperienced, but one to watch in the future ! It will come down to May vs Leadsom.....and the sensible money should go to Mrs May. She is very experienced at senior level, and is likely to be taken seriously by our erstwhile European colleagues. I think she will appoint a negotiation team to handle our exit, but will play as little part in it as possible herself.
  2. I watched the new show for the first time last week....absolutely dreadful !! Eddie Jordan overacting at a level that would embarrass Christopher Biggins and the American fella reading his lines.....as.....if........he.....had.....a.....piece.....of......card.....being....held.....up.....for.....him. Won't be watching it again....
  3. I see Jeremy Corbyn got himself a new allotment........ I'll bet it's a communist plot !
  4. I can't fault anyone who lists their hobbies and interests as "WW1 battlefield tours, Dad's Army and cricket".......!!
  5. wonder i he will go for a mp, now He's tried and failed to be elected as an MP 5 times now. Maybe 6 is his lucky number youd love to see him fail BGD. But labour took that torch, imploding in public eye with a loonybin leader who thinks he's bigger than the party itself. I wonder if corbyn knew you hunted would you be guest at his conferences??? I have seen him fail, 5 times have to admit I did enjoy it just a wee bit too Naomi Rankin, representing the Communist Party of Canada, has tried (and failed) to become an MP a total of 14 times...... Arlette Laguiller of the Trotskyite "Wor
  6. At least Farage left on his own terms.....more than Scameron, Thatcher, Millipede or Clegg can say.....(or Corbyn will be able to say !)

  8. My missus caught me having a w4nk in the shower yesterday......ruined our visit to Auschwitz!
  9. I'll put an up to date picture up later..........thanks again, chaps !
  10. UPDATE.....UPDATE.....UPDATE We've ascertained that he is a male and we weighed him last night......280g ! =O Local rescue centre says we can choose to release him now (big thumbs down by the missus) or make sure he gets up to hibernation weight, box him up for the winter and release next spring - which seems to be the favoured plan.
  11. You forgot to outflank them with the catapult battalions, then set the dogs on 'em ! That's it. You're now leader of the resistance... I never sought to be leader of the resistance, but I have searched my heart amd soul, and I have decided that, in the interests of the country, I am the right person to unite us again...etc etc etc
  12. You forgot to outflank them with the catapult battalions, then set the dogs on 'em !
  13. I'm not entirely sure what to make of him, so I watched Andrew Marr's interview with the duplicitous, double -dealing, treacherous, back stabbing, cowardly, lying ba5tard ! Did anyone else's school class have a lad like him ? The one that even the girls used to pick on ?
  14. Or when she asked Dale Winton "does your wife like Supermarket Sweep ?".......
  15. I have a suspicion that there is a strong correlation with the ethnicity of the alleged offender....if you follow me ?
  16. If you thump a bloke because black, that's a hate crime. If you thump him because he's a dick, that's still a hate crime, because he's black.
  17. That's no age - terrible ! "Meterologicos interio - scorchio !"
  18. For yourself or for animal use ?
  19. Now the referendum is done, I can go back to hating the odious little twat !
  20. They have the potential to shoot back !
  21. Not something I'd take part in, but provided it's legal and sustainable, no issues for me.
  22. I've been involved in many political groups and causes over the years, but I would never support, encourage or condone violence......simply because it doesn't achieve anything. The population is generally too apathetic be enlisted, and the police and army are too large, too well - disciplined, too well equipped and too loyal to their employers. Peaceful demonstrations and marches are allowed, however large, (and rightly so), but as soon as things 'get a bit lively', the response and outcome are predictable. Although, it is remembered for its aftermath, the Poll Tax March mobilised a ma
  23. Who says we've accepted you ? Get out ! And take that black fella and his dog with you !!
  24. Definitely not ! It would be usurped as a second referendum. The £ and the markets have just about recovered, and the EU is coming to terms with our decision. The last thing anyone needs is more uncertainty...... Think I agree with this TBH, we need stability right now... It's a shame though because obviously Labour are in the perfect position to fight and win a GE campaign right now Joking aside, I would normally have said that the new PM should go to the country at the first opportunity, but I don't feel that the democratic process would be served by holding an election in the near fu
  25. The perception is that he has lost touch with the ordinary Labour voter. He claims the mandate of grass roots members (400,000 or so ?), but the MPs are claiming the mandate of the 9 million people who voted Labour at the last general election. If the new PM calls a quick election (and I sincerely hope they don't ), Labour could be in trouble, even in their traditional strongholds. I can see Labour losing seats wholesale, and UKIP becoming the opposition......
