  1. Turkey has been subjected to a string of terrorist attacks recently, and the government have used these as an excuse to clamp down on all opposition parties. The army obviously feels that have gone too far, yet failed to deal with extremists effectively.
  2. Commercially produced, pre-packaged food, made within the EU has no restrictions, as I understand it.
  3. Francois Hollande says "France has learned to live with terrorism"........ A shameful statement from the leader of a supposedly free country !
  4. Liz Truss illustrates my point (with some comedic effect !) https://youtu.be/bRhlRM6rYck
  5. As I understand it, a deal to sell goods ABC to country XY for price Z (the physical mechanics of trade) CAN be done bilaterally, without the EU being involved, but all trade must comply with EU trade regulations, tariffs etc. British trade delegations visit non-EU countries all the time (it will be one of Boris's major tasks).
  6. I'm with you on not knowing much about the candidates, but whoever is chosen will certainly have big boots to fill !!
  7. Negotiations will fall to David Davis and Liam Fox, under powers that would have been under the Foreign Office. I think that the whole point of putting Boris at the FO was to sideline him from the EU, not to involve him.
  8. She wouldn't have to ask twice !
  9. the NEC have just bought the the affiliated members vote in line with the January cut - off date......looks like they've never you off at the pass, mate ! Really is utterly ridiculous, if they have to fight so hard using all every dirty trick possible to stop him winning maybe they should just accept he's who the members want. The legal challenges to this bullshit are going to be interesting... North Briton if you PM your PayPal address I'll send you the £25 to become a registered supporter That's all very nice for him, but the fact remains that he does not hqve the support of t
  10. That's all very nice for him, but the fact remains that he does not hqve the support of the PLP so, in effect, he will be standing alone against Mrs May's new gang. The Trident debate is on Monday, and the man who opposes it's deployment has no support among his own MPs - all Corbyn has achieved so far is to leave us with no functioning Opposition.......

  12. That was an eye - opener, even for me !!
  13. Gove has paid the price for his treachery !
  14. I think she's put him there to sideline him from the EU negotiations, which will now come under David Davis's remit.......
  15. I invited one in and out the kettle on. I sat down and said to him "So...what do you want to talk about ?" He said "I don't know - I've never got this far !"
  16. Apparently, Mormons and Witnesses don't celebrate Halloween........... ........perhaps they don't appreciate random strangers knocking on their doors !
  17. Just seen his final Commons speech. Even though I hate the little ba5tard, I thought he behaved with tremendous grace and honour, especially as he was the architect of his own downfall....... ......unlike the SNP members, who behaved like spoilt brats !
  18. 'Cos he needs the money ! Him and his missus are multimillionaires..........
  19. I thought it was only the metropolitan elite that supported Corbyn? Surely they can afford £25. Seems this is an attempt to stop the working classes being able to vote in this election. Fecking shameful for a supposed labour movement to try and price out the working man Keep up, comrade !If you weren't a member in January of this year, you don't get a vote. The new members won't have any influence, one way or the other............ I'm talking about registered supporters, they have 48 hours to pay £25 if they want a vote in this election. Nothing to do with members new or old.Keep up Did
