  1. Real shame to hear of a young dog being taken by this cruel disease,I lost my old bitch at the start of the year to cancer, and I had a run in with the big c myself quite recently,I hope this has'nt put you off acquiring another runner, you sound like the type of person that can provide what a dog needs all the best and keep looking forward mate

  3. My mate used a blue eye for a while years ago,i think it was a bit of a gimmick really, they're supposed to cut through the fog,but who wants to lamp when it's foggy, another lad had a black eye lamp and that was a real good lamp 400,000 cp,with a nice tight beam,i've tried lazer/blazerlight's,blitz,strikers and a few others but the best by far was the prolight 1.5 million cp
  4. Nothing wrong with a bit of weight on a growing dog, infact a good few lurcher owners like to see their dogs flesh out a bit during the closed season,I still like to keep my dogs at least half fit during spring/summer,but it's good to see their condition changing as the season gets closer.and you give them, that bit of conditioning, she'll be a nice age to get going in september, all the best with her mate

  21. My old bitch was very like him, very salukified, and had the same long flat feet all of her life, used to glide effortlessly with a very light footed floating running style, used to make her look like she was'nt trying, but when you looked at what she was running, you could tell she was motoring, roadwork did'nt alter her feet, but she was very durable, only remember her having one toe injury after running flat out down a bank and across a road on the back of a hare
