  1. Cheers mate, she a full saluki x bearded collie grey Oh she must be the one you got recently, did'nt recognise her there, hope she comes good for you next season, nice to have a good looking good worker, just got back from the moors, seen a load of strong ones running about, wish my dogs were 3 year old again atb
  2. Good looking dogs and pics, hows the one with the green necklace bred,i'm away over the moors with my veterans now atb
  3. Sounds about right to me,always liked the look of whippet greyhound's for the smaller land, but think if you add maybe 1/4 saluki blood you could improve with stronger feet, recovery rate, and allround durability, saw one years ago, think it might have been a decent little bitch in the right hands, but she had been on the carousel,as is too often the case
  4. All you need to do is walk her up the beam on the slip until you're right up on them, she'll soon learn, maybe because she is 100% sighthound blood she's just looking for the moving targets, never owned one myself, but I seen a few run in the 90's,good dogs to watch, not the best for rabbits, but they'll catch their fair share,my mate's dog Axle was started on the hares at 10 months old, before any other quarry, and never looked back,I hope they make a comeback in the future, just need to get the right deerhound blood,if there is any about these days atb with the young bitch

  12. Tried my dogs on tinned sardines in oil recently, they did'nt touch the sides, thought they were going to eat the tin aswell
  13. The photo with the rainbow could be the next winner of the c**tfile calendar comp,as long as they dont find out you have working dogs, feck off craven, where are the modern day jack hargreaves, and phil drabble types, when you need em
  14. would trotting them alongside a bike help improve their feet? I'm not saying they'd make bad feet good, but wouldn't it help? Apart from toughening the pads, and shortening the nails, trotting a dog wont make the bones any more durable,as far as looks go it's nice to have tight cat like feet on a dog,but there is no guarantee that they will be any more resistant to damage than a more flat footed dog,it's all in the bones, and to some extent running style, terrain etc
  15. You'll know where to look if your sas mask goes missing anyway
