  2. Dave, Have you been pumping the neighbours cat again or are you always this slack eyed and silly on a sunday afternoon
  3. Your the ones that wear girls skirts And leotards. Nothing like the old early season lamped long ear for hammering down the beam and sticking the nut on the doc marten
  4. Are you sure he was'nt having a big dish of beef chow mein courtesy of Warren Zevon
  5. Saw a tiny leveret a couple of years ago at the end of february in south northumberland, get four seasons in one day these years
  6. Looks ready for the liver, fava beans and a nice chianti
  7. definatly a huge sickener There is one or two of her line that I know of but any potential litters could be two years away. That's the thing with people who breed to keep their own line going and for own use, there's not an endless supply of readily available pups, but if this line is what suits you most what can you do but wait. Keep your chin up mate
  8. It's a real sickener mate, same thing happened to me almost 2 year ago with a dog i bred myself and i've never really gotten back into the game since. What about the lad who bred your dog would he not be able to find you something of similar breeding ?
  9. Have a look at the Cluson PLR 500 nice little rechargeable lamp, light as a feather with a good clear beam
  10. This breeding is legendary the marmalade brindle goes back to the old paddington lines, just make sure you dont choke on your rosette casserole ffs
  11. Nothing like a home bred pup,and he looks like another tank lol. some team you are putting together there. atb mate
  12. I was out this morning and this lamp can get across a fair sized field, maybe i was overestimating the striker, been a while since i used one, and yes the plr 500 has a very clear white beam
  13. Has'nt got the reach of a striker, but i'd say it's a better option than a 50 watt lazerlite
  14. cannot beat the green ones with the drainage hole soles
  15. On a smaller scale, but look at what is being done in some parts of the country with people clearing overgrown areas and making community veg plots etc, locals are improving their own areas and doing the councils job for them
  16. Knew I should have kept those early 1990's copies of shooting news lol.
  17. Looks like the rainy season has started

  18. Never forget the old adage,- Buy cheap Buy twice
  19. Half and half mixture of water and a pure fruit juice of your choice, add a pinch of salt if the sun is shining hot
  20. The garbage spouted by that plug packham and what has been featured on countryfile must have caused a good few busybody types to become self appointed wardens, strange how they never show any footage of the teams of rich foreigners who come here to take part in the mass slaughter hare drives, yet a couple of working class english lads cannot go out on the land with a dog or two. Come on Cameron time to pull your digits out of your keister and flush this hunting act it's an absolute cluster fukc
  21. Hairy, smelly and often lame, but we had some fun together on the well populated local hare fields DH/GH X Collie/GH, R.I.P. old three toes
  22. Would that be in association with Arcot Lane Hardbacks ltd
  23. Clulites are a better set up and a nice little lamp to use, but for anything other than rabbits even the Blazer can come up short on big fields, go for the lightforce but make sure you tape the wires up inside the handle they are piss weak and pathetic considering how much they bend you over for one of these lamps
