    I was tidying a garden one time, and round the back of an old shed there was a big plastic bucket half full of eggs that one of the hens must have been using instead of the nest boxes, also there is a lad at work who is said to go where hens won't lol

    I planted a Montana Clematis a good while ago, but my mates pup bit through the stems close to the ground, that would have covered a huge area by now

    Yes song birds mate, I've planted my garden out with hazel trees, buddliea different types of honeysuckle, ivy wild flowers etc, put feeders out for the birds, that aniseed oil coated mix is good stuff, and I get bats coming in at dusk

    I've got the use of a couple of other gardens to grow veg anyway, so just wanted to rake some seed into the next door garden, think some of the game crops look quite ornamental

    Kale is supposed to be good for winter seed production, but I'd like to grow something tall, and self supporting, and mix the sunflowers in with it

    I've always liked the look of the strips of game crop on the land, and was thinking of growing some, in the derelict garden next door to my back garden, the garden gets full of giant rosebay willowherb, teasel, and bramble, but I've cleared a few strips to grow something a bit more interesting, a few year ago I saw a mixture of medium height sunflowers, and some sort of game cover, millet or something I think ?, looked good whatever it was, anyone got any ideas for what I could grow, want to attract, and provide more food (seed in winter), and shelter for the birds., Cheers

    They've only got them in bloater size though, and I hear Tomo is on the carrot juice and celery diet

    Farleys rusks, and a 2 handled plastic milk bottle Haha. . . . But seriously they are awesome. Bib and brace, good wellies, lots of thermals and a ridge line smock, with a beanie and buff. . . . and thick waterproof gloves. You can pretty much just see my eyes. . . . and sometimes I whack skiing googles over them to. As you can tell. . . . i'm fed up of getting wet! Jesus H Christ man, where the feck are you the himalayas ?
