  1. They`re not thoroughbred they`re rough looking cob types. Who the horses or the owners ?
  2. Race horses are usually highly strung, and come straight over, big powerful things they are, cobs, and riding horses are a lot more placid, but there all best avoided wherever possible
  3. Used properly a liniment is good stuff to use as part of conditioning / maintenance etc, Alco Ectolin is a good one if you can get it, but no liniment is going to do much for an unfit, or unwell dog
  4. Not the same these days, grass still growing, and high temperatures, a hard run takes some recovering from for a dog with a bit of coat on them
  5. Think he's retired now mate, but there must be a good amount of his breeding out there
  6. Can picture them now, giving it the big un in their cream stay press, sandals, and wifebeaters. Protection racket's at the grass hut wine bars. lock, stock the f****n lot
  7. I don't fancy eating it and after gutting it I defiantly won't want to eat it, heard they are smellier than rabbits. They have a strong scent, think it's because of the large volume of blood they have, if you put the carcass in a container of water with some salt added this removes the gamey scent, and lightens the colour of the meat, cooked slowly with veg, they are very nice
  8. Cannot beat the old Cockney rhyming slang lol, the old dog can run a canny hare
  9. Was gonna be High Plains, but who am I trying to kid, there's only one Clint Eastwood, one thing we have in common is he rates Newcastle Brown Ale as the world's best beer, and I live there lol
  10. Good to read that mate, I've had and seen coursing/lamping dogs showing these sorts of symptoms, Bedlington terrier in my street retches and snorts like he's got a mucus problem of some sort, once heard it described as a lack of oxygen getting to the brain caused by over exertion that causes these symptoms
  11. No antlers but they do have nice sharp tusks on them. There's afew clips on YouTube of eagles taking deerI think munties are a bit quicker to use their tusks than cwd, but it would be a consideration I guess. Any bird flown at a quarry over and above what it would normally pursue in the wild is going to be in for some rough and tumble. Novice With talons capable of putting out pressure double that of a pit bull terriers jaws, could'nt imagine a golden eagle having too much to worry about from a muntjac or a CWD, there's footage of them being used to hunt some type of wolves on youtube
  12. Kim is a switched on bitch alright, and Tilly makes it hard work for them, they don't seem to be able to break away from her
  13. Wonder if they come in the petrol handed variety lol
  14. The rolling gait can be very deceiving
  15. Get one of john craven's fox deterrents, they squirt water
  16. Have'nt been coursing hares at an airport have you mate ?
  17. Like a Roald Dahl of the lurcher and terrier world, mad as a feckin brush lol
  18. Was a black bitch called Witch shown running a couple that I'd like to see more of, any particular dog stand out for anyone ?
  19. Might chuck ten budget nets in with them
  20. I'd have scranned half of them before they were cold in their trays, to hell with the feckin freezer lol
  21. What you need is one of them plodder things to double up with your tear arser lol
  22. That's it mate, no shortage of five minute wonders chomping at the bit to spunk all their giros and crisis loans on a must have lurcher pup
