Hello as said you need a large primer i use cci or cci-br & Hodgdon Varget is a great powder for 243. I deprime & i first primer pocket clean I then zip-trim & chamfuer. With the chamfuer tool you only need the lightest of touch as you only want to take off any burrs & put a very light chamfuer internal/external. All my tools is Lee i like his equipment other than a Lyman flash hole tool. i then tumble in a lyman 1200 in corn-cob media i then empty them & make sure flash-hole etc is clear. It is six & two three's as to when you prime your cases for reloading as i bag my

Its really 6 & 2,3s for you as they both do the same job H,F,R they may differ slightly between breeds but nothing really. Personally i dont like the smaller ESS you get now & see alot of. I like the size of the badgercourt lines. I know Nic has/had an FTW of very good size & have a friend with a FTCH that is a nice ESS & good size & seems to be producing cracking pups its a pitty this dog isent better reconized. As for you its just what you fanncy to try & i think the cocker can be a bit more work to train in a sense more to wear down as they think they know but thats

Hi Mark & well done as said if you walk by the odd buck that you think has potential if you can then medals heads can be obtained. The does are a key roll too but best kept secret is a secret. As for the shotgun shot buck pitty but he's bagged now & no suffering now & theres no hard & fast rules he would of been better as you know. Here is a buck we got i think it will go good bronze low silver but time will tell. Here is one i got last year iv worked it out at just skim a gold.

A good working cocker will be ideal for hunting/flushing for you.

Theres no hard & fast rules & you have a good choice to for them to choose from. Do a recky for a day or two to see fit there up to. Get a book on shooting them & have a good read as there is so much things to try & do. Once the crops get up flattend wheat/barley etc are very good to kill on.

Get a 22.250 i set mine to group at the top of a 1" target at 90-100m & can hit rabbits out to 250m with 50-55g bullets just aimming at them 22.250 rules.

You can get 500ml juice bottles fill them 3/4 full of water & freeze them & put into the ferrets once done. Get 2 or 3 & rotate them.
-
You should be ok as long you can train dogs as pups can be loyal to one another & hard to break. Then you end up liking one over the other.

If you are serious in your question you aint fit to have a dog an electric coller is a no,no but they have there use in proper hands TWAT.

Hi Dave hows tricks did you enjoy my world as i enjoy taking people out & showing them the things you see stalking. Its great to see them get hooked & getting excited.

Dont know anything about the zeiss but the shmit & bender knock the nightforce into fits in low light, dont whant to start silly argument but i have both and in low light the nightforce does NOT cut the musterd. SHIT!!! Fine to someone with experiance & telling it how it. Thats me in trouble with NF-club sorry i dont like them in low light. Will admit though for range work etc very good.

Well done & we have all done it so dont worrie its dead & in the bag. Just give it a good wash out & dry it & you have some good eating.

I use a many powders with great results but am on Varget now & its good. cci prim 36g varget 55g v-max 1/2" at 100m. Iv had great results with H380 BL-C2 N140 but am on the Varget now. -
Personally & think in low light etc NF are crap & S&B are exelent other than price on there PM11 & 34mm tube with that the mounts for 34mm is £200 +. The zeiss seem to be very well priced for scopes they offer & i think the scope you mention is too much scope for you . I would look at there 6x24x56 models with illumination ret only £1299 or that & you save money & will be an exelent all rounder from target/lamping/stalking low light etc.

Good shooting & nice rifle but i wouldent like to carry that rifle as the pipe (barrel) is like a scafold pole. I know you need them kinda barrels with target/range work.

Hi i dont have a problem with killing vixens at this time if lambs etc are going missing. If you know the earth then get a terrier man & give it ago but cubs can be a pain with terriers but sure someone would be keen to help out & deal with them.
-
As said its a dangour to sub it down. I just plato with the normal ammo but not to much at one time this is when you will shoot out a barrel.

As said a video is a hard one to judge & i would say that bird was a good hi bird at about 40yrd. There was alot of birds no being killed in the air in that vid. I dont class a bird of 20yrds a hi bird but that of a pillow material or mini driven walked up. You would be surprized when loading for a gun that can shoot & is on form & is killing/finishing birds off in the air. I loaded for a guy with a 16bore at grouse & he had a cracker of a single grouse crossing in front & i would say a good 45-55yrd shot down dead & im nobad at judging distance & no far off most of

Hi i would think you will have to pay for the beast to take home & its about £2 a kilo & keep the liver & kidneys but you need to skin them. If you like liver etc IMHO roe is the finest you will ever taste. As for tip £20 is the norm & good but if you have loved the day/stalker & the crack with him etc £20-£50 its your call. If you get a stonking gold medal then you could pass out with trophy fee ie £600-£1200 then a big tip. I know a lad that got a £1000 as a tip as it was the guests biggest buck & a buck of a life time. If you wernt so far you could have come u

I have a black cocker dog & trained him to the commands butcherboy listed No,1 is a 1sec blast to sit No.2 is 2pips to turn & No.3 is 4-5pips together to return. If i sit him i give a gone away command to start hunting again & to start at the start of a drive i send off with a click of fingers & pointing in the direction i wish him to take with a steady on/gone away command either really.

I have done it but not for 10yrs or so & im not allowed to under the conditions on my FAC. If you look at your FAC you miight have the same as me as its standard for .22lr in area.
