Sorry to say but im no chocolate lab fan very rare to see a good-bred & worker. Im not sure but im sure you cant breed a chocolate to a black/yellow lab & KC reg them but hope this can be cleared on hear & answer this question for me. Theres alot of work in breeding good dogs & you o it to the breed to not let your own opinion get in the way that your dogs are good or because they are well bred.Theres people in my area that bred there labs because there pedigree was good & never even worked the dog & it mated a bitch under a 1yrs of age & cant be KC reg. In my mind

Sorry but im a S&B or swarovski man or zeiss as im looking to up grade but scopes are on the up £££. My bro had a leupold & in the last light it was poor & he looked through my old S&B & went & bought a 6x24x50 pvs swarovski & a very nice scope indeed but i would only consider the 3 makes mentioned. The NF are good but i dont like the way the whole eye peice turns when you crank the power up just dont do it for me that.

I use a Half choke for every thing & change to im/cy with steel at ducks on the shore. I dont know but do you mention to use 3-1/2" cartridges is your gun chamberd for them? a 2-3/4" & 3" cartridge used to moderation for distance will kill the secret is not to take crazy hi shots as many do.

Steady on 30% just go to your wifes/partners hairdresser & get 15% peroxide i have it in a paste form & brush it on to heads it's great. Gave my mate some as he is a headstalker shooting 50-70 red stags a year with guests & says it's great method. I still have same bottle 1ltr after 3yrs.

Hello iv found my 22.250 will shoot anything accuratly & same in other's rifles i have found it to be the easyest cal to load. I work 50g-55g v-max or soft point sierra/speer heads & normall large rifle primmers i use cci as a match primmer burns hotter thus a hi/max charge with a match primmer would be way over charge of 2g-3g.

I some times feed before if i can. I have a portable food pack bowls free from vet & there great i take them to beating. I also get custard for them & dinner time.

Mate, nice to hear a sensible attitude, but don't wait till next year. Try & get out with an experienced friend. I'm in a similar position to you, new to wildfowling, so I go with the seasoned lads & watch/learn. Left at 2am last Saturday, drove 3 hours, walked over a mile & sat up to my knees in mud for another 8 hours without even having a shot Worse still my more experienced mate suggested a move & within 10 mins a flight of about 15 Canadas came over exactly above where we had been and 2 other shooters had 3 of them!! But I know when I shoot my first Canada it'll all h

v-max replied to firepower's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
You seem to have things in place as asked for by martin but i would get in touch with your local FEO ( firearms enquiare officer ) about the golf course & get all & any permission on paper even from FEO. -

v-max replied to Squirrel_Basher's topic in Deer Stalking & Management
Nice beast & good right up it looks to be an old beast hence the length & no brow tine on one side. The other looks to have frost damage from when in velvet or has knocked it when in velvet hence the lump in it. -
Yeh i know of the section 1. I have a cheap 3-shot but am after a beretta urika & am selling the fabarm now as i had when i keeperd.

Take your mounts off first & turn them round & go out & try again & if it dont work then go down the shim/new set of mounts route. I have had this prob a few times on my own & friends rifles & has always worked for me. Hope you under stand what i mean. 1. Loosen off both mounts & take scope off. 2. Then loosen either set & take it off the base block & turn it 180 degrees & rescrew to base block & repeat with the next mount. 3. Re-mount the scope & set it for you/level on the rifle & test again & let me know if its a BOTTLE for me or sh

2 questions about 6.5 x 55 calibre
v-max replied to Mil Dot's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Hello i dont have a 6.5 but this cal/bullet diameter is of military back ground thus it has a very popular spectrum in target shooting with 6.5x284/6.5x47 etc the list goes on. getting a cleaning kit should be easy as you need bore guide & 6.5 jag/bronze brush/mop etc As for bullets the choice is endless from 70g-160g look on midway uk site as they stock a mass of stuff & it will give you an idea of bullets you require. No matter what bullet you should always look for a good safe back stop very risk as 90% + bullets will exit me thinks. I my self am looking to get a 6.5x284 at some p -
Yes you could but finding/getting a good bred one is haed & they cost a fair bit but there are some out there with good hard working golden retrievers

The basin is a permit tidal water & has a club on it. You can shoot any other tidal water & there is some good bits in your area. You can get a permit for the basin to shoot but its to late now i think but the coast has good spots & im looking to try a new bit this year maybe.

Might be beating/flanking or picking later in the month & will take camera.

Hi Dave nice beast looks like it could go bronze he has slopping cornets hence he is oldish & should have a good skull mass & weight. Do you think my beast could go a medal im no sure . .

All scopes are fixed parallax unless they have adjustable either as a third turret or on the objective of the scope. Parallax refines piture & can be used as a range finding tool. At the eye piece you have eye focus + - & variable power if you have a variable.
