  1. sak represents the best value for money per decibel gain, by that i mean you could spend three or four times as much, and not really notice the difference out in the field, true value for money in the sak. Snap.
  2. for .22lr i don't think your flinching, unless very nervous, i'd check all bolts nuts etc, rezero, test fire and see if it does the same, most .22lr rounds are wax coated, if you have put alot of these downrange, then i'd recommend a really good clean and scrub out, check the crown of the barrel for any damage, and if all else fails change scopes and retry after zeroing, Snap.
  3. how about a game of three legged football 5 a side ie 10 persons per team, fooking funny as hell.... And as its for a sports team it'll suit you all down to the ground. Snap.
  4. Cheers for that snap. Am I right in saying it doesn't affect the beast and game dealers still take them? Heavy fluke infestation, Will cause poor condition, And make it hard for the animal to gain weight, the dealer will still take the animal as above but condem the liver, Snap.
  5. This last year has been tough, and the one whole thing i'm glad of is thats its brought the family closer together, And i've learned how much they mean when times are tough... So i'd suggest you ring up your family and try and get them to uderstand your worries, and the fact the the dog has bitten children before is causing you some concern, And i hope you can sort it out, Happy Christmas, Snap.
  6. Got it here, and the roads are lethal with black ice........ weekends to be really crap... thank god for 4x4............

  8. like the first pity their not both looking at the camera... Snap.
  9. if you decide to use the action any time for a custom build, then go for the tikka action, as its tolerances are far tighter than the remmy, the 595 action is designed for the calibe its intended for, whereas the tikka action is one size and not near as well built to tolerances of the older actions... i have the 595 action which i built a semi custom on when i shot out the barrel on the tikka, if you see a 595 stainless then buy it as even for a custom build they are still making very good moeny. Snap.
  10. Happy birthday c/g hope mummy spoils you rotten.................... lol x
  11. Its not the poly tips causing the problem its the design that the bullet was intended for, most deer hunting bullets look the same as ordinary poly heads but the core and jacket is made up differently to allow for the mushrooming effect, heavy varmint bullets, have a softer core and thinner jacket to allow for rapid expansion on impact, snap.
  12. your bank account should stay the same number as should the sort code unless your changing bank then the details change, the sort code identifies the bank, you just need your card replaced...... Snap.
  13. my motto is you get what you pay for........... !!!! buy once cry once... Snap.

  17. To take one day at a time and stop worrying about the past or future, And to get my house started...... Snap...
  18. the mod, does not slow the velocity of the bullet, and the only thing to effect the zero with be the weight of the mod on the end of the barrel effecting the harmonics of the barrel, and therefor changing the zero or point of impact. think of the waves coming into the beach at regular intervals say for instance 10 seconds apart, this is the same as the bullet travelling down the barrel it creates a wave and when that wave reaches the weight ( the moderator) where the mods on the barrel this wave pattern will change, and the zero of the bullet will therefor change. Snap.
  19. i love BOP shots, really like the second shot.... Snap.
  20. Anywhere the ground is wet or liable too flood with rain there will be fluke present in the animals... When the animals have adult egg laying fluke in them, they pass the larva out through the dung, then the larva has 24 hours to find a host (mud snail only living in wet areas) one larva can develop into about 600 while inside the mud snail, then once they leave the mud snail they clump into cyist like structures and attach themselves to the pasture grass, which in turn the animals eat and they then migrate through the gut wall, bile ducts and into the liver where the cycle is c
  21. this is true john...... i took 5 rabbits out and they hadn't a clue where the shots where coming from...... the .17hmr is inherently more accurate.... the only down side is cost, but for the extended range you can take bunnies at i think its worth it... Snap.
