  1. Perhaps we could get back to topic and read more good stuff from peeps....
  2. like the second kay, although the power lines spoil the scene a little, maybe you could play with software to see if you could remove them, haven't been out lately due to crap weather...
  3. Well for me my proudest moment SO far in my life, Has been returning lost bodies from sea accidents, or those taking their own lives, To their families, As part of a search and recovery unit, you notice there is no RESCUE, As by the time we get the call its a body search, i no longer am part of the dive recovery unit due to a colapsed lung, which means i can NEVER dive again.... But i feel proud that i've united families with their loved one's who otherwise may have not had a body to lay to rest... maybe one day when kids come into the mix things will change, but for m
  4. i'm sure you will remember many more great things about her also, my father has battled cancer and is still here, i admire the way he battled it with an attitude that its not gonna get him down while the family where in bits, i'm sorry to hear your mum lost the battle, but no doubt won the war the way you describe her...
  5. Seeing as there's alot of topics about the sacrifice those have made in the past it got me to thinking, When you lie on your deathbed ready to meet the grim reaper, what would you look back to and regard as the proudest moment of your life.... {even so far} And the sacrifices you have laid down for others? A thinking Snap.
  6. There was a certain ammount of greed etc, back then i agree, But in todays society its rife, morals seem to be all but gone..... Snap.
  7. They wouldn't know the place today, greed, backstabbing to get ahead, people thinking they are better than one another, back then they knew their neighbours, shared whatever they had, helped one another, Today people are only concerned with how they can get ahead in life, rather than helping others along the way... Maybe in the hard times to come, (recession) people will begin to see the error of their ways.. They had to protect loved ones, as i'd like to think we all would if the time arose where facists where looking to overthrow our way of life...... Snap.
  8. Watched the best of last night most i've laughed in a long time...
  9. i suspect your bruno is a 1 in 10 standard factory twist, the 108gr i suspect is of the VLD type.... and therefore long, do you feel resistance on bolt closure...? And when you fire the round the pressure build up is because the bullet is touching the rifling, and leading to a pressure build up before the head leaves the case.... you need a 1 in 8 twist to shoot the 108g in .243 with any accuracy i suspect.... and a deeper throat area too instead of the factory standard.. Snap.

  17. Out of test as in VIP test, shouldn't take long to do, 1/2 hour would do it if the dive shop have someone, qualified, Whilist i dived i had, 2 x 12 ltr bottles 1 x 15 ltr, and 2 x 7ltr bottles to get checked....!!! sore on the pocket then... remember its for your own safety, so 30 quids not bad... you don't ever want to see a piller valve coming of your bottle believe me... 20. i agree with this wholeheartedly, especially for the long term unemployed young adults, who have growen up with the culture of money for nothing, it'll make them appreciate how hard people do actually work for little over the dole that they recieve for nothing..!!! Hard work never killed anyone, and not everyone likes the job they are in, be it skilled or manual labour. i've only ever been outta work about 3 weeks of my entire life, and its was mind numbingly boring, sitting about.... everyone deserves a fall back when they are outta work but long term as in years for any young

  22. i hope you gave the bore a good scrub out to remove the oil and grease form the factory.... !!!!! Barrel quality will depend on how long it takes to run the barrel in, But shoot one clean one for 20 rounds will be ok, you will need a good copper remover and carbon remover, and give the bore a good cleaning until the patches come out clear, and then scrub again with the carbon remover, and try to see if more copper is evident, when clean shoot 1 clean in every 10, for 50 rounds most standard factory barrels will need this, as it the only way of getting rid of the small burr
