  1. They have their own little culture and beliefs, some travellers may give others a bad name in general but isn't this the way in all walks of life? Seeing them walk about in skimpy clothes is one thing, but you don't see them drunk and grinding the leg of some fella....!!! their morals seem to be very high on that side of the coin, And no matter what traveller home you see it'll always be kept like a new pin inside There tradition of marrying young and to fellas that they hardly know is a strange one, But i guess they grow to love who they are with, And the open wedding policy is an

  3. So it sounds like your mate "gave away" 2 pretty well trained dogs.......thought it was difficult to find a bargain?. If you do your homework it will save you a pretty penny.... You can get a bargain anywhere but to find a quality dog at a cheap price is very rare indeed, especially around where i live... he bought the dogs and trained them at large moeny, they where rytex lines and 2 brothers, worked well as a team... Snap.

  6. Hi just to add that those who maybe boast about a long range shot have tried to prefect their shooting over many years, So the risk of the wound is the same as that of the weekend shooter out to bag a meal, the risk of wounding will ALWAYS be there NO MATTER what the range is, its down to the person behind the lethal bit to make that decision, And know whats achieveible in their own shooting ... ATVB. Snap.

  9. Hi mate, sorry to hear you had to say goodbye to your dog at such a young age, The Ess are a great gundog, and so loyal and hardworking always egar to achieve sucess... MAD as hatters until about 18months to 2 years, Which is when i feel they are willing to learn, Build a good solid foundation, of sit, stay, at a young age, i wish you many a happy outing with her... ATB. Snap.
  10. I come from what was once a thriving fishing community, And i've seen what the EU have done to our fishing grounds, Throwing fish overboard once caught doesn't make sense, and as many are deepwater species their swim bladders brust and they remain on the surface for the gulls to pick them off... Theres all sorts fishing some may be doing it legally, but theres always the element that are out for all they can get, i believe that it should be policed more strongly than it is, As some sharks take 10 to 15 years to reach sexual maturity, So this isn't sustainable in the long run, fact..
  11. the RPA are excellent by the way, but if you want a good gunny to chat to please feel free to pm me. Its all about knowing your options and what your money can buy you... good luck with whatever you decide. Snap.

  13. i agree with the above save a little more and then go and buy a qualiy bred dog, something in the lines of badgercourt or rytex lines, for 150 more, you'll not regret the extra, Don't get me wrong some people pay little money for a dog that luckily turns out to be a worker, but its very rare, My mate had 2 springers trained to the whistle, and on my days off i could take them and work them, he was a little impatient with them and would hit them sonetimes as they wouldn't know what command he was giving, the dogs worked perfectly for me and ranged very well, he sadly

  15. clean the channel with some silicone oil and use a cotten bud to wipe the residue off the slide of the turret press, you should find a big difference, i had one and changed it, to achieve more accuracy, As the turret lifts when you push the dies down into the round, hence changing OAL and misalining the head... roundout was all over the place with it, BUt i hope this helps you out... Snap.
  16. for the record i like palo too...........
  17. Takes ages to heal, and one thing to be aware of is any broken rib puncturing a lung, SO BE CAREFUL, hope they took an x-ray to make sure there are no issues of bone fragments, i'd say months before you feel no pain and then only lift very lightly if you have to for another few months, one of the hardest things to heal in the body... good luck, take care... Snap.
