  4. Always thought the pit bull was a English breed which the Americans adopted their name to it. Also read that the pit bull is the working equivalent of the Staffordshire bull terrier

  11. Just read the email nothing for the lurcher lads. I'd just say it's a side step not a step forward. Let's see if the hunts help us out..... I very much doubt it Don't want to be negative but I think lurcher work (hare, Fox deer) will never come back.
  12. Theres ferrets that will go down a hole and bolt a few then there's working ferrets that will clear a warren and will push most out.
  13. I would of thought it depends on the dog, if its an expensive breed or not. Maybe used for puppy farms Running dogs possibly used for coursing, lamping etc

  17. Check the locator is on and working before entering ferret, also check the collar isn't going to come off while underground. Always keep a look out for keepers, farmers or landowners. Have fun

  19. Lol. My lurcher used to take feather but never even bothered with old budge bless him, was going to get enougher but would stuggle to get one like him lol Great little birds very tempted now though

  21. We used to have one a few years back the tamest and friendliest budgie around used to wolf whistle, Chase a ball around the room used to leave the cage open all day. Used to take him outside and he'd just sit there next to you and dogs also used to sit on dogs. Unfortunately he killed him self trying to get a drink out of a half pint glass and drowned upside down. When he died the house lost a character that always cheered us up.
