  1. Jai, what has been said here about seeking out the right advice is spot on, though pay heed to Maximus Ferret's post above. Last time I had a dog with an outside toe break, the dog had eight weeks off running, doing anything strenuous or just about anything that could put us back a few weeks. When the toe healed, it was still big from the callus and remained so for the rest of its life but never troubled the dog again.
  2. Jai, I'm gonna have to agree with Borderscot, what a cracking pup...
  3. i gave up my hgv when i got to the medical at 45, no way on this earth would i have passed it, plus i was getting horse from shouting Cnut out of the window all day Aye, them nasty toes would have snapped on the brake pedal....
  4. Now I'm intrigued Don't be, it aint that f*****g exciting I can assure you Perfick, just perfick...
  5. I'm a trainee gynecologist, I don't know much yet but i'll have a fecking good look...! or... I used to be a gynecologist, now I can wallpaper my hall through my letterbox...!
  6. I was at his funeral and, behind the bloke who fires the oven, was one of the last to see his coffin.... We were kids and hid behind the wall of Anfield Crem, round the back and with the doors open at the back, watched the curtains close behind him as he rolled into 'position', before all doors were closed and they cremated him.
  7. Good to have you here, though a bit more about yourself and your interests would be welcome.
  8. Best of luck with it Gravedigger... Fingers crossed for you.
  9. About 12 years ago my mate was on a skiing holiday, he was stood outside a smart hotel (not his!) in the resort and as he put it "the most beautiful woman I've ever seen came out". He said he just stood with his gob open, like she was a vision. It was only when Michael Douglas came out after did he realise who she was. He still talks about it today, not in a 'I seen a celebrity' fashion but how shocked he was at her beauty. His Mrs agrees with him too. Oh yer, that STD throat cancer thing, apparently when he said it, it was about all the other women he's slept with before (he was a sex ad
  10. Bosun... I had a bull terrier when was about 12 called Bosun, my grandad said it would be a good name so we called the dog that. Then at 18 I went to work on the Mersey rescue boat and I worked my way up to being a Boatswain (Bosun, senior crewman) and eleven (11) its the number of the house I grew up in and sort of my fav. number.
  11. Mossdog, I still work in Ormskirk on occasion, my Mrs works there too, if I get to hear of any none kc 'propper' types i'll let you know.
  12. When we were kids my mate and his dad made some, with lead in copper pipe, big ball type end to 'em. We took 'em ferreting.... First bunny hit the net and me mate whips out the priest all excited and twatted it.... Head caved and splattered all over the fecking net... Total mess.... Chinning forever after...
  13. Yep, just about everything on this thred seems right about 'em... they are nasty, 'orrible little feckers but I kinda like 'em... Used to see loads in their hometown of Ormskirk, every 'old dear' had one but not so many in the past few years, they are a old and unfashionable breed now and have now given way to Shitzues and Pugs.... Shame really, because if any old dear would own one they would be a right protective little shite..! I've ratted with some too, years back and good little dogs they were, they 'packed' and worked together better than most terriers.
  14. Total sickner... I hope this situation has a happy ending and the dog is returned to Mac asap..!!
  15. Does she look like any of them bints on that holiday balcony Tomo....
  16. Colin, yes mate, i'd be lying if I said it never... He's made enough adjustments but the truth is that on 'some' turns he simply loses his quarry. It's a fecking shame when he's ran the bollocks out of it and when he's up its arse, he can loose it for enough time for it to get clean away, with him doing a right an left 'where-dit-go' head turn. Me, i've learned to live with it better than him, every catch is a bonus (and we have had plenty of catches) but frustrating for him each and every time out... I'd have called it quits that day in the vets when he said the eye will have to go bu
  17. Sorry mate... Hope you get sorted...
  18. Strap yourself into a pair of these beauties, totally waterproof as well..
  19. Fair play to you Wirralman, you know all too well form should always follow function. Unfortunate that you cannot find the 'ideal' but you've made damn sure you've strived to breed workers... My hat off to you Sir... Best of luck with the litter...
