  1. Fuji, for dogs that can't hold weight when out, if your feeding dry, even if you wet it down, make and feed it sloppy. Holds weight on 'em better when under the cosh a bit.
  2. Good stuff again Fuji, your a lucky man to be able to put so many hours in, over such beautiful terrain. Old Venus looks like she's starting to shape up.
  3. Sorry for you loss Nobby, good innings all the same. Dust yourself off mate, Autumn is just around the corner.
  4. Unfortunately, I think I better, though only for one or two posts, the rest is all to do with him, its his puppy thred..!
  5. I've cleaned this one up. Sick of the constant bullshit. Now let the lad sell his pups...
  6. firstly that is a cop out of the first order "only to prove bla, bla" secondly just remember that you sent a pm begging to be let back on here the other week after other avenues for sales were withdrawn from you your memory seems to only have a self preservation mode. Also don't forget we know the actual reason your account was banned on here and the proof, in fact its near enough the same reason why the lads are unhappy with you now, it would seem a leopard can not change its spots. just for your information it wasn`t even darcy that banned you neither was he booted off as a mod, he gave
  7. I lost a lead once and found it again two weeks later when I went back to that area. Though I have lost loads to others by lending them because they have lost theirs...
  8. I want a collar to outlast me, never mind the fecking dog..!!
  9. It just depends on the ferret. Pinky is well handled but at 10 weeks still 'mouths' you, no sharp bite at all just puts her mouth around your finger gently. Now, if you have a bit of a 'nervous disposition' around ferrets you may shit a bit and give a flick on the nose or send your massive digits down her throat with force... No need... You should know when a ferret bites you and that is a million miles from it.. They are babies..!! Now next door to me have got two cracking Poley hobs, a week younger than Pinky. Just big dopey lumps that wouldn't think to bite and just hang in the hand all
  10. Before I met Aaron I used to use either Black Dog or Glynn for my collars, both produce ok leather gear thats reasonably priced. Harris & Watson are still going Alex, there was a link up on here a while back. Baz, just as a matter of interest, have you seen the SS lurcher collars? The brown or black with brass fittings are cracking kit, very light weight and made for any size of dog. I've got one on my mutt, forget its there most of the time and looks and is performing as good as when I got it over a year ago. They are well worth a look.
  11. No worries mate, knew they were a tidy litter, glad your mate was sorted. When the pups old enough fetch hiim up for a walk, same age as mine.
  12. Good post bosun.... Didn't want to be an ass lick lol As said, its just my take on the scene for the past few years and the point of just how much a dog could produce in comparison to a bitch and the fact that a dog could be a fantastic working animal but a poor producer but if its used as above, the damage is already done.
  13. I'd agree with you there MB and that can be the downside of it all. My take on it, as I said before, is that the working terrier would be in a much better place if folk valued and kept more bitches. We now live in a world of names, names of terriermen, names of dogs, names of clubs, books...etc. So lets favour the dog, like a dog, got a good dog, got a name for yourself, got a name for your dog. That dog is that good you wanna put it to open stud but we ain't gonna call it open stud because it sounds a bit 'wrong', so lets say available to 'selected bitches' and they start coming....
  14. Its easier just to buy one of the fatter types an run the feck out of it...!
  15. hows big dog bred 4th gen half cross. half cross donkey I was waiting for that...!!!
  16. That's fecking rich seeing as you must have done a cracking search for that lovely pic you put up the other Friday..! Anyways, all you 'hunters' failed to notice that kids wearing a Barbour an shades, cool as feck in my book, even if he is wearing serious 'shit stoppers'!!
  17. Nice part of the world Ludlow. Me dads family were evacuated to a farm there during the war. So as kids, most summers we'd have a nostalgia trip back. We loved it..!! Give me a heads up next year and i'll go to this one. Its been years since I seen Ludlow by daylight.
  18. Seen it many times and always thought I'd like to run a dog on there. Looks like it'll never happen now.
  19. Right then chaps, the gun is no good to me, TBH i ain't the type to fiddle about with it, so i'd rather give it and put a couple of bob together for sommat half decent. So, if anyone wants it, Andy, James..?? Give me a shout and either you could come direct or i'll have a ride out and meet you somewhere. I'd like to think that someone who really is into guns, has it for a collection or does it up or sommat...?
  20. I've seen it up close, it's next to the Wallace memorial and lowers the whole tone... Shite!!
  21. NO, elgamo are different to gamo No they're not. They were sold in the UK under the names of Elgamo, Gamo and ASI. Same make, same company, same factorys. ah right What's with the ? Do you know better?? Don't burst me bubble with him... I'd like to think 'he knows' its really a Desert Eagle .50. Now those woody's would be in for one hell of a time if it was..!!
