I have good memories of 76. I was walnut brown working outside all day and freelancing harvesting at night. Then I would go home and take my turn at wiping my kids' arses and changing nappies at night. Happy days. I had boundless energy, but now, once it gets beyond 24 or so, I'm knackered. Not that it happens very often in Scotland. If the weather forecasters are right and we see increasingly warmer summers there's bound to be an exodus from the North to the South. I'll be long gone. So I'll get my "piss off home you soft southern b*****ds" whilst I can.

I have, it was sloppy shite. I'm the last person on earth to comment on food. I'm not interested in it. I eat to live, not the other way round. But I recognise the taste of poor school dinners and that was my experience. Didn't like the queuing, especially as some fat bitch was holding everybody up by complaining loudly about her portion sizes. I didn't like the sloppy tatties, didn't eat the burnt sprouts and left the fatty meat. Apart from that it was great. Had a desert to take the taste of it away. That was OK. Nice and sweet anyway. Toby Carvery is not on my list of places to eat. Maybe

To answer your question I didn't think much of the fight and I thought the weight limit imposed on Eubank was cynical and dangerous. The whole concept of weakening a man to bring him down to your level seems unsporting to me. Medical research shows that brain injuries are directly linked to dehydration. Which is why Eubank senior was so angry about the fight. He should know after badly brain damaging Michael Watson. His brother, also a boxer, died from brain injury caused by boxing. I never bought into the story that it was a grudge match for family pride. Jackanory stuff. It was a ca

I can see the lad darting up the wing at St James' Park. To the roar of "Howay the sheikh".

"Dues" are what you pay mate. Jews are who you pay.lol

I stand by my post. The fight was every bit of a circus as any crap Jake Paul puts on. In allowing this fight the British Boxing Board of control were deliberately dodging their responsibilities with regard to boxers' safety Eubank had to massively dehydrate so that he looked like an emaciated rescue dog, whilst Benn looks nothing like he used to. His new muscle bound physique is maybe the result of eating a lot of eggs. Or perhaps he's been eating a lot of wild boar sarnies. These excuses are accepted by the board of control as ' reasonable' explanations for failed drug tests. Bu

Here's some pics as requested. Had a terrific start to season. 6 Sea Trout and 5 salmon. Salmon are all catch and release. But 2 sea trout per day allowed. The big fella fought like fury. Pound for pound they fight harder than salmon for sure. I caught it about 3 a.m in a pissing down gale. Added to the battle in a way. The red was shot by my son. He uses me as a hill pony to drag them across the heather. It's absolutely knackering. I would prefer a working man's McNab..... A Roe lamped by a lurcher, a Gill netted salmon and a half hour with the gamekeeper's Mrs.

You are very cruel young man. Picking on a sentimental old c**t like that. Fill this in for help on obesity mate. You know it makes sense. I offer you this advice in a spirit of peace and love. Your carnivore diet of bulls' testicles and macho weight lifting is making you unacceptably aggressive. I'm putting my phone in a drawer for summer. I hope to find a slimmed down, more pleasant Tomo in the autumn when I return Once again love and peace brother. https://www.medexpress.co.uk/consultations/questions/mounjaro25

Just had a break from THL . I've been enjoying the summer. I've been blown away by enquiries as to my health and welfare. Many thanks. I'm quite moved. Most read 'you are an an annoying so and so but I like you.' Although naughty Mc, did immediately, upon my return, call me a a commie poofter by implication. But I forgive him. And he did apologise and write he loves me really.lol I'm planning another break from THL until October time. I'm determined to spend as much time outdoors as I can until winter. So I'll be back back annoying folk then. Until then.... Cheers.

Quite a few people have asked if I've been OK. I'm moved! Too sunny to be on here recently. People on here often say to me, you are an annoying b*****d but I like reading your posts. I'll take that.

Remember when we had free speech? When people said I disagree with you, but will defend to the death your right to say it? Or words similar. It used to be the case that a woman who had kids was hardly ever sent to prison even for serious crime. But a woman with 3 kids was sent to prison for something she wrote when emotionally outraged after the Southport massacre. It truly is frightening. It's like North Korea. People are jailed for not following the party line to the letter.

You are consistent Mc. Like a f****n annoying chihuahua ragging at my heels again. I'd give Charts the sack Mc. I hope you are not paying for private tuition. You are making no progress. But ,tbf, what you lack in wit, you make up for in a certain, oafish and lumpen stupidity. So fair play. Be great if that rumour has any foundation though. It would keep us all going in schadenfreude for a year. (Don't be intellectually lazy Mc look it up! Its the only way to improve)

I haven't been on for a while so this is old news. But I just could not believe the crap that was discussed and written about this contest. Two NEPO babies carrying on a family feud....my backside. Yeah, yeah. The Benns embracing and looking soulfully into each other's eyes at the end of the fight. Pass the spit bucket. We even had Bellew appearing in Benn's dressing room cuddling him and reassuring him he should be proud of himself. It was a mismatch. Benn has a juiced up physique and had fought nobody of note in their prime. He's not a patch on his dad. Eubank has m

Lazy semantics on my part. You knew what I meant. I'm well informed about politics, which is why I often post on political threads. I never post on threads I know nothing about. That would be daft.

And the case of a cop called to a boating pond where a young lad was drowning. He did nothing. A member of the public saved the youth. When asked why he had not assisted, the cop replied that, according to his training, he must always view his own personal safety as sacrosanct. Hmn.

The guy was obviously a dangerous hombre. Who's to say he couldn't have leapt from that chair, hopped across the room at breakneck speed and plunged the knife repeatedly into the caratoid artery of that brave policewoman? They were responding to their training manual. National heroes if you ask me. Damn you THL for criticising their humanity, judgement and common sense. They are not paid to be human beings. They are trained by bureaucrats and paid to be automatons. Now you criticise them for acting like Chat bots. Buncha judgemental twats. They should be given bravery medals

He was/is a likeable psycho. I enjoyed the tale about the burglar who broke into his house. Big Dunc thought all his birthdays had come at once and gave the ned a kicking he'll never forget. True karma.

I guess Starmer will be viewed according to the spin the history books put on him. For me he will always be a disgusting traitor. Where does the truth lie? Answer? Often the first 'truth' which is presented to you. I think it's called the ' anchoring position'. Getting people to stray from their their anchoring position is devilishly hard. Took a lot to persuade people that the earth ain't flat. That we descended from monkeys. That the sun revolves around the earth and the earth revolves around the moon. People will read that Starmer was a jolly good chap because he lead the

Sykes' father was abusive to him as well. Man hands on misery to man.
-
A great deterrent towards committing crime would have been to make prisoners share a cell for a week with Sykes. The crime rate would have plummeted. A fate worse than death.
