    The Don.

MAGA are angry that the Trump administration have decided not to release the Epstein files. Conspiracy theorists have long believed that there is a paedophile ring associated with the great and the good. Many think this failure to release the files is a suspicious cover up. It's in the public arena that a woman claimed that she was raped by both Epstein and Trump when she was 13. The case was to go to court. She suddenly, and some say mysteriously, dropped the allegation just before the 2016 election. Any connection between the files not being released and the historical allegatio
  3. He's probably talking from experience having woken up with a tender orifice and Frank's armpit as a pillow. To the duck pond, burn him, crucify him. What a load of woke bollocks. Not that I've ever watched the programme or give a shit. They'll just replace him with another unkown, overpaid cook who will become a 'star' at our expense.
  4. Jack reckoned his competitiveness and aggression was something to do with his border reiver blood.
  5. Armstrong is a famous border reiver name. As was Charlton, Robson and Millburn. Jack C was very proud of his border reiver roots. But why you would be proud of cattle thieving murderous ancestors is up for debate.? Lol
  6. O Good to have a civilised exchange despite coming from different sides of the sectarianism fence. I remember one of my kids brought home a book from school about Irish history. I learned that the Irish would sit about all day peeling tatties with a specially grown long thumbnail . It was their diet almost 100%.They existed on an acre or two and when they weren't peeling tatties, they were producing children by the the teens. My mother came from a family of teens .Several died in childhood. I guess you would argue that along came the British Empire and changed all that. For b
  7. Just Google' Plantation of Ulster' mate . And 'The Highland Clearances.' Have a look at 'The Duke of Sutherland' as well. They're all part of Irish/ Scottish history and subsequent bitter sectarianism.
  8. Stiff maintains Ulster was built by Scots protestants. Going back a bit..".The Plantation of Ulster " which was the the process of transplanting mostly lowland protestant Scots and some English into confiscated Irish land after the 9 year war, was different from the 'Highland Clearances' , where tenant Scots were evicted en masse to make way for sheep. It's a very sore subject for the Scots. As is the plantation of Ulster for Irish catholics. I've had to teach myself this stuff because when I moved to Scotland in the early seventies I was attacked for having been brought up Catholic
  9. I don't think there's a conversation to be had. It's what the history books say. Mind you, who writes the history books and for what reason? I'm not getting drawn into sectarianism. I was brought up a catholic . But I hate, loathe and despise the catholic church. It's the biggest land owner in the world. It spreads ignorance and keeps people in poverty. It should be sold off and its wealth redistributed for the public good. As for the Church of England it too has vast amounts of wealth , 11 billion in investments for a start and vast amounts of land to boot. It's the church of th
  10. The Scots protestants who colonised Ulster were not kicked out of Scotland. They were given grants and occupied land confiscated from the Irish. This was a deliberate attempt to protestantise Catholic Ireland. The people kicked out of the Scottish Highlands were tenant crofters. The landlords discovered that sheep were more profitable than renting out crofts. There were mass evictions and Scots emigrated all over the world.

I see a lot of porpoises. The way they dive and surface, often in unison is one of my favourite sights in nature. Magical.
  12. There were no charges against the cop. I agree with that. The lad was hyped up and, in an airport ,he could have dealing with anything. It used to be said that the presence of female officers could calm a situation down. And that is true. But in this case. I think if I were a cop I'd want a man to back me up. Not a wee girl.

  14. Not like you to mention black people Wilf. Whatever has gotten into you?
  15. The judge should fit the punishment to the crime. Black, brown or white. It's a no brainer imo. Eight to ten minimum. Personally I don't think there would be any disturbances after the sentence. If there is, then crush it. They can do it when they want to.
  16. Fackin ell. Lots of confused emotions and questions to be asked after this attack in an airport of all places. Got to be 8 to 10 years for the attackers, minimum. Some will say get over it girl. You get the same pay as a man.But for me hitting a woman is not on, or a kid for that matter. Disgusting behaviour whoever does it. https://youtu.be/TX_4GxbEkkk?si=zvgkjB3nmIu268id
  17. That made me belly laugh. Good man
  18. I got told your Rangers supporting family had you removed from the womb 12 weeks early so they could celebrate your birthday on the 12th. And that, as a result, you were deprived of oxygen which led to behaviour difficulties in later life. Confirm or deny?
  19. The 12th of July commemorates the Battle of the Boyne when the Dutch protestant King defeated the catholic King James. Religious bigotry is very important to both Irish and Scottish culture. Events are held each year by both factions to demonstrate that their particular faction is the way, the truth and the light. Its an annual blood letting of hatred. It holds both countries back. But, identity, hatred and bigotry are part of Irish and Scottish DNA . Going into the wrong pub wearing a Rangers or Celtic scarf is equivalent to drawing a cartoon of Mohammad to crazy Islamists and can get you
  20. "It stripped them of any morals they have had". Ain't that the truth. Unbelievable how ordinary people just lose all self respect when they are on that stuff.
  21. No fires, but I did nearly drop a tree on a gamekeeper. He used to pride himself on his bushcraft and sneak up on us. To humour him we all used to praise his ability to conceal himself. Even though we usually knew he was there because wood pigeons were exploding into the air as he approached us. One day he came roaring out of the undergrowth and a falling tree only just missed him. He soon recovered himself and was bragging as usual that I hadn't seen him. In fact I was more shaken up than him lol. Despite his bullshit he was a nice fella. He turned a blind eye to any snares we had
  22. When I worked in forestry we would come across dozens of nests hanging from trees. I used to volunteer to be the one to burn them out. The other lads thought I was mad but I was never stung. A stick with an ignited paraffin soaked rag would get rid of a nest quickly. A nest burns like paper. Many of the lads were badly stung but I got off scot free because I was surrounded by smoke, flame and the reek of paraffin. Simples. Wasps numbers seem to have recovered this year.
  23. My go, schitzophrenia..don't know they are. Different person according to mood.
  24. Well blow me down. You hypocrite. One minute you are saying we should accept gallows humour and tragedy chanting as " who we are" and the next you're going all PC and precious at my post in which I said was being " deliberately flippant". Make your mind up old chap.
