I have reason to remember that game. Scotland were out of the world cup but a big crowd of us, over 100 people went to watch this in a pub. The trilogy of fights between Ali and Frazier. I've watched them dozens of times and the hairs on the back of my neck always rise. I will admit to tears in my eyes as well. Drama , pride, pain,respect, exhaustion. They made history. The desire to be number one in the world was more important than money to them. Awesome fights.
