Arrested development. Mid seventies in age, but sometimes behave as though I'm 17.

Fair.

Didn't realise that. 20 lb! I thought he looked chunkier last night. He was talking about coming back down to cruiser. At 38. That would be a challenge. He could lose the weight but could he stay strong having lost the weight? There's a few from comfortable backgrounds, but ,statistically, boxers still come from fairly impoverished circumstances. It is one of the few sports that still has a working class base. For a start you don't need to buy a lot of expensive kit or pay through the nose for tuition. You've got to be pretty desperate and determined to become a pro. ......w

Parker is logically the next man he should fight. But we all know Parker is nowhere near Usyk in class. Nobody can touch him. It's a mismatch to match him against any of the current heavyweights. He's head and shoulders above everybody in the division.
-
Remember when the black americans dominated world class boxing? It seems 'slav' nations now monopolise the sport. They have shown us a step up in technique from former eras too. Long may it continue.
-
Usyk has proven time and again that you don't have to be a giant to win world titles. And you don't have to be a foul mouthed idiot like Fury. He's always conducted himself in exemplary fashion and brought some dignity back to the game. He's demolished Fury, Joshua and Dubois twice.Top man, I hope he has one more fight and retires as he says. He will feature as one of the all time greats when the history books are written.

I' ll have a think and think and read about Blair. What riles me is that Campbell made up the dodgy dossier and was complicit in the eradication of hundreds of thousands of people under false pretences. He now does a tour of the television studios begging sympathy for his depression. He's not depressed in shame at his past actions. Just depressed because he's self obsessed. Meanwhile, Blair, fresh from knocking off Murdoch's exotic East Asian wife continues to amass multi millions from grateful receivers of his generosity whilst in government. "There's always be an Engla

Yes but who sold it off? Thatcher! And her band of extremists.
-
To be fair I meant she was a Larkin type. All home baking and pinnies. The buxom bit was more mother f***ing than lust.
-
Agree 100%. But Blair finished off a job started by Thatcher. He would have been nothing without her.

That farmer was like somebody out of Enid Blyton. Picked me up hitchhiking in a thunderstorm when I was about 17. I was like a long haired soaked rat. Took me back to his place where his buxom lovely wife fussed over me and gave me a hot meal. I kept thinking where's the catch? Are they perverts? Murderers? But no, lovely people. Gave me a bed and a breakfast and took me back to the main road the next day. Amazing people. I always spread the love when I can. It's nice to be nice.

We've,definitely lost a sense of community and British identity. We all sit at home watching the box feeling isolated. Nobody feels valued . One thing I've noticed about British society.... There's a law ...the harder you work, the more you contribute, the less you get paid and the less people think of you. A farmer said to me once he wished he'd followed his brother into the lemonade business. He worked all hours milking cows and growing wheat. But bread and milk are cheap compared to the mark up on lemonade. He reckoned the more needed and useful your product the less its worth. Had qui

I would watch if it was on the telly.

Yes particularly young men. They reckon it was a reaction against crazy bitch feminism. Young men are sick and tired of being 'persecuted' for their gender. I get that. But Trump as a role model? God no.

Speaking for myself I was a retarded idiot at 16. I can hardly recognise my old self. But some 70 odd year olds think and act like children too. So I don't resent 16 years old the vote. Let's hope they make a better job of the country than we have. I read an article this morning about UK's water. One of the very, very few privately owned water supplies in the world. Apparently many different countries own parts of the industry. But our country is not represented at all. Foreigners own and profit from our water but not us. Starmer made noises about public ownership of water but again h

That creature Starmer spoke favourably about PR. But now he's in a position where he could do the country a favour, he sits on his hands. What's the quotation? "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely".
-
I would like to see proportional representation. At its best every faction gets a say and no 'off the wall' group holds sway. Critics say nothing will get done as no group will be able to do things their way. I agree with some things Labour does( or rather did) , some green policies and some tory/ Farage policies. Better waterd down policies than extremist ones . It works well in other countries. We are one of the few that still has the first past the post system.

f**k,me that's fighting talk. I'll get the popcorn.

Welcome to THL Seagull. The culture is a bit ferocious, but you get used to after a while. Stay strong. Greyman is always on a hair trigger. Whilst Wilf trains on raw beef. He rears bullocks. Doesn't even kill them. Just wipes their arses, holds their tails up and bites away.

Dacia Spring. Ten grand. Brand new.160 mile radius. Be OK for a coffin dodger like me.If I did buy I would use it for dodging about locally. I would keep my petrol car for longer journeys. I could always pimp it by writing."Warrior" "Huge Cock" or "Sioux Chief" on it. Just for street cred or to keep up with big boys.

I think we're all a bit guilty of the countryman look at times. Luckily , I've got a missus who keeps me grounded with her vicious ,critical remarks like "who the f**k do you think you're supposed to be? Etc etc. But I've never quite 'got' uniforms for sports...the tennis look, the cricket look and the golf look. People obviously feel a need to belong. Nothing wrong with it, just a bit weird. Ex army is the way to go. Or as my son says: ffs dad, you look like Compo.

I thought that exhibition was strictly for the Welsh lads so just respected their privacy.
-
But think what you'll be missing. A hot day, with thousands of people shuffling along a tiny corridor of grass basically looking at overpriced field sports goodies in tents. You'll miss the lads being dragged by their panting gundogs wearing their green wellies, Barbour jackets and with their gundog whistles prominently on view around their necks. Some even dress their bored wives in similar garb and drag them along too. You'll miss the leather hat lads fulfilling some fantasy about themselves, the lurcher lads and the terrier lads with their frustrated demented terriers screaming" c

Pam Bondi .She said the files were sitting on her desk ready for her to review. But then she said they will not be published as there was nothing to see here. Move along. etc. Dodgy. We know Prince Andrew' s connection. Bill Gates and Bill Clinton were also big mates of Epstein. Imo, the files obviously contained some incendiary information which has been suppressed. MAGA certainly believe that. This story is not going to go away. Let's clear the swamp.
