I think Nicola Sturgeon will conduct a vote whether she has government permission or not. I think the ' braveheart effect" will swing the Scots into backing independence. What does BJ do then? Appease the Scots by keeping the Barnett formula and giving goodies? Or does he think f**k you and remove the Barnett formula and further punish the Scots for their uppityness?

The heavyweight scene has got really interesting over the last couple of years. Some genuine fights to look forward to and new contenders emerging all the time. We'll never get the seventies scenario again but at least it's more entertaining now than it has been for a generation.

I don't know mate, maybe some clubs have approached him but he wants to stay put for the moment. Perhaps chairmen think foreign managers have more ability than English managers. Maybe he would only be tempted by an offer from one of the big 5. He's only 42, time is on his side. I think eventually he will have to accept that he's achieved all he possibly can with Bournemouth and he will feel the need to test himself at the next level.

Fair comment, but let's examine his recored. He achieved promotion from the bottom league having being deducted 17 points. He then achieves two further promotions and has established Bournemouth firmly in the premiership. He's had a lot of injuries this season and, I grant you, suffered a run of defeats recently, but I would back him to establish the team in the middle of the table before the end of the season. He's the brightest young manager we have, I'm sure he's destined for bigger things.

I can't believe a big club hasn't snapped up Eddie Howe. His CV/work ethic is out of this world. If Ollie doesn't cut it our place, Howe would be my first choice manager with a five year contract. Eventually old farts are replaced by ambitious young bucks. I think he's not only destined for a big club but also England manager.

Wilf I think the tories conned the british public with austerity packages. No other country bore down on the poor and the disabled like the tories did, meanwhile the rich got a lot richer. Bill Doherty used to course with his Doxhope deerhounds. I'm sure he stated that some of his dogs could take brown hare. Be interesting to know if he has any footage or photographs.

Competitive coursing is like alcohol, it brings the worst out in some people. People even go apeshit at lurcher shows if the result goes against them. All three are best avoided if they bring out the worst in you.

That all sounds familiar. Unfortunately we once told the bookie our dog wasn't "trying". We ran him behind a mini van on the sands to tire him and fed him loads of tripe. We thought that would slow him down big time. Damn me the bugger won the race! The bookie thought we had double crossed him and was literally after our blood.? Personally I'd like to see the little fat fella put AJ on his arse again. It was the size of the fight in the dog and not the size of the dog which gave us the last result. AJ has to prove this time that he's not another Mike Tyson, good at handing out punishment but not so mentally strong when the game plan backfires. Anyway, Ruiz seems a cracking family bloke who comes to fight and give his all. Bit of a throwback to the old fashioned heavyweights. Go on my son!

Yes you have made the qualifying rules very clear. I understand that jobs in France come with pension entitlements just as many public and private sector jobs in the uk. The state pension in the uk is a flat rate pension but is paid pro rata according to the number of qualifying years. You don't receive it as a freebie. It is also paid at 67 years of age, whereas in France the state pension age has recently gone up to 62. Pensioner poverty in the uk is mainly caused by retirees who have little or no pension entitlement because they worked in jobs which provided no pension. This is scandal
