I can never get this piss boiling routine either. Lots of seemingly decent people go apeshit about other people's beliefs. Whether its veganism, gay marriage, transgender etc etc. I really don't care what other people believe. These issues don't offend me, they have nothing nothing to do with me. Why do people feel threatened so much? I'm not posing as Mr Cool, I am genuinely surprised at how quickly people become so clannish and beligerent about things that do not concern or impact on them. I just watched that Thank you very Mr Eastwood video on Youtube. It was a pisstake on McGuigan being so respectful to his manager. Mind you all boxers were like that in the old days. It's reckoned Father Ted had a lot to do with the Catholic church losing its psychological grip on people in Ireland. People, including me, an ex catholic, had never seen the piss ripped out of the church before. It was groundbreaking in a way. Kind of liberating. And very true to life.

You probably missed out on seeing the great Celtic player Jimmy Johnstone Stiff. He was honestly the most skilful player I have ever seen. No question. Had he been playing now he could command his own salary. He was worth the entrance fee just to see him dribble. Phenomenal player. He was marginally better than Georgie Best imho and more consistent.

Sorry, I am so cynical about politicians and in particular Johnstone, Trump, Putin, Kim Yung il etc I am incapable of seeing any good in them at all. Well I think that's the case, Johnstone is still bucking in Mystique and nobody has been able to rouse him for any wise words of international diplomacy. Still I reckon he will emerge soon with a two fingers salute and sporting a cigar, his usual tribute act.. What's the betting he will lick the Don's arse when he does stir himself? Terrific summary that Stiff. Your point as to whether the Mourhino effect will last more than three years is the biggie for me. I am not sure about his ambition these days either. He had no intention of building a legacy at Man U. He agitated for a pay off. I wonder if he's taken the Spurs job just because it's close to home?

Don't disagree, but I can't think of a situation which was ever improved by taking out one man. There will be dozens willing to take his place. I can think of one individual's assassination which did lead to a war.....world war one. If the yanks wanted to put the fear of God into the Iranians it would have been better had they attacked military infrastructures with 'shock and awe' to coin a phrase.. I had a steak in a non tourist ordinary Joe cafe in Barcelona. I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. When the steak arrived it was pink. I thought I'm never going to eat this, its raw! It will have to be sent back for more cooking . However it was tender and delicious. How it was cooked I have no idea but it was a revelation. Anybody know how it was likely to have been prepared and cooked?

Read recently that elderly vegans are breaking bones and hips at alarming rates because of a lack of calcium in their diets. Silly buggers.
