  1. Plenty of good strong dogs about still if you know where to look, most wheatens will have some kind of bull blood somewhere along the line. Each to their own I say... good luck with your search
  2. No breed should be banned! But certain individuals should be banned from owning any kind of dog, especially bull breeds...

So far so good, all very interesting and many questions yet to be answered but as many have said it's not fully gripped me yet
  4. It's ashame that there isn't more working bedlington terriers around... Very few lads work them these days
  5. Bobby2 - I think it's you that needs to get your facts right and read the bloody thread from start to finish!!! A few lads called him a peddler and made a few other comments directly about the man!
  6. This thread went a little bang bang crazy very quick... Any time i have spoken with Brian he has always been extremely helpful and a true gentleman. Like him or not I do think he has produced some good dogs over the years and has contributed a lot to the patterdale, no need to slag of an old man that's not here to defend himself. Despite liking a nice small tidy terrier I do like the bigger patts we see a lot of these days, but I do think some are becoming to big. There are patts weighing over 30lbs now, that's the same kind of weigh as a staff and a small pit. But as already been said her hor
  7. Yes great boxer... Not a great fighter, has received much criticism over the years for not engaging, grabbing and moving away and because of that will never be held up there with the true greats!
  8. Lads let's not forget that the reason McGregor is going uphill with the weight is because of his big ego and gob and nothing else... McGregor is 2-3 inches taller than anyone in the division he is a CH in, Same could be said that the other fighters in that division are fighting a bigger man that cuts a Faire bit of weight to fight at 145lbs. As I've already said the fight should have been stopped in the 3rd round, the running away and grabbing was like watching what mayweather did for years in boxing! A joke!
  9. It was a very good fight no doubt... Both very hard lads but the fight once again proved what I've said many times. McGregor is over hyped, he is a good striker but not a good fighter, his ground game is second rate and he lacks wind. Had it been someone else in the 3rd round when he was getting hit by Diaz and not blocking or punching back the fight would have been stopped. Also walking away and not engaging in the last rounds! I actually think that Diaz looked a lot worse than he really was, he has a lot of scar tissue around his eyes and anyone that's done any kind of combat sports will kno
  10. The truth is in the pudding, the breed has done very little in working terms! not just me but many other lads have said the same thing about the breed, but you crack on pal, we will agree to disagree!
  11. Dogfox and you do? Lol typical of many of the forum, unable to have a discussion!
  12. I think it's you 2 that can't read as a few lads have said it as have I! Now Read this... The working stock used in the english bull terrier was limited, the EBT apart from the odd 1 is not a working dog, there are many better breeds to use for a cross and any decent cross over the years was carried along by the other blood in the dog!
  13. Psycho was only 1/8 EBT, Stormer was 1/4 EBT and he produced next to nothing... Apart from the stand out Red Hand of Ulster there hasn't really been any proven pure EBT. Dogfox123 - James Hinks started with working blood yes, but it's no different than today starting with a pit and adding some whippet, Dalmatian & Spanish Pointer to it and hoping to get a better dog. It's not going to happen... The EBT is what it is and people need to take it for it is but it's not a true working dog and not in the same level as most pits or even a decent staff
  14. Busterbuster1969 - smart looking dogs pal
  15. Lenmcharristar - Yes there is... That 1 in every 1000 that is half decent. I think in the past they were used more because there wasn't much else, as soon as the pit came over ebts and the majority of staffs went down hill. This day and age there is much better dogs to be used as crosses.
  16. EBT's in my opinion will always be a second rate bull and terrier, apart from the odd one the rest have always been no where near the Pit Bull or a decent Staff.
  17. Interesting subject... I'm from an area where it's very big so I was brought up around it, when ever I go back home I do try to go see 1 if I can. It's a very old tradition, it's something that's very much in the people's way of life, they breed Bulls specifically for it and as already said here people will have their favourite forcados, matadors and horsemen.
  18. Life is not easy... Some people may walk it with you but they can't walk it for you. Plenty of regrets and what ifs, wish I had been able to say good by to my grandfather before he passed and had more time with my gran before she passed! They were like my parents... I wish I fuck3d off my so called father a long time ago, what a waste of space he is. Shit father and husband. We never really got on, I guess I always saw him for what he was even from a young age, a C*Nt! Choice of friends and associates over the years could have been better... I have helped many over the years and g
  19. Nice pup whitefeet... I wonder how many lads have seen 1 of these in person? I've seen a few and everyone I saw was a hell of a dog, they are more of an Alano, Dogo Argentino type than a bull X grey as many believe. Photos don't do these dogs justice and there's a Faire few of them working boar in Europe...
  20. all jokes aside, they are a very wealthy family, and like it or not they have a lot of power...
  21. I've always been quite sensible with my money, apart from my mortgage and the odd large bit of furniture bought on 0% finance I've never really had any debt. I couldn't sleep if I was in debt or in serious money problems, I also worry to much about a possible rainy day and even if it's a few hundred or a few thousand I always try to have something on the side... Just incase! I don't want to work all my life, I want to pay my mortgage, have a nice holiday with the fam every year and look forward to my retirement mortgage free so I can enjoy the little things in life before I go!
  22. Faire play to mixed grill! Let by gones be by gones...
  23. Dirty scum!!! Unbelievable how something like this could go on, unnoticed in the UK!
