  1. Unbelievable thread with some great info, photos and discussion... Hats off to you lads that have made this thread one of the best on here! The bedlington has always fascinated me but as its already been said not easy finding the good stuff!
  2. There is still a faire bit of lads with them lines... The dublin red being the rarer 1 of the lot as there's not many about anymore!
  3. History is 1 thing the bottom line is that in today's day and age the irish and kerry have a bad reputation with working folk... The Irish terrier is another breed that I've heard rumours of some examples being worked by a select few but to this day I've not found them!
  4. Good old thread... The kerry blue always brings up a bag of a opinions. I have always heard stories about certain individuals working them in England and Ireland but have yet to find these few individuals that do, last I heard there was a lad called Mick in Maidstone, Kent that supposedly had some good ones, there is also meant to be a few other lads in Southern Ireland that also work them but again never found these guys.
  5. I think he had to move due to work and placed the dogs with friends...
  6. Happy Father's Day lads, all the very best, it's only my second Father's Day as my lil 1 is only 21 months old but he is my everything!
  7. It is a good book at the price... U beat me to it, I recently bought the complete gamedog and the European bulldog collection to add to my collection, their great books!
  8. Looks like a pure wheaten from the photo...
  9. Don't mean to hijack the advert but let's see some pics of your modern game
  10. I know I read somewhere that 1 of them has had to have 3 identity changes at a cost of over £750,00 to tax payers, as he always confessed to who he was to people he befriended. I'm sure it was the sameone that was caught with indecent images... A cheetah never changes its spots
  11. Its been over 22 years since James Bulger's murder and the events of what happened still make me sick... God bless him and I hope he rests in peace! This is a good documentary on the case for anyone that missed it when it was first aired a few years back - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5iKnvSlb5g

    Filas ?

The fila brasileiro was created from the dogs taken to Brazil by the Portuguese, like the now extinct fila da Terceira and the fila de Sao Miguel. The original fila brasileiro prior mastiff and bloodhound blood being added looked a lot more like the Cimarron uruguayo which also descends from the same Portuguese dogs, today's fila brasileiro comes in two types registered with 2 different registries. 1 registry breeds a more heavier overdone show type and the other is trying to continue to breed capable working dogs but if you visited places like minas gerais you could find good working dogs tha
  13. I'm hoping Pacman does the business... But there is no doubt Mayweather is 1 of the all time greats, Im just fed up of him
  14. It's not the quantity of time but the quality of time you have with your kids... My father was around but he might Aswell not have been and to this day we don't get on! He made zero effort then and now it's to late! I have my own son who is only 18months old, I make sure that I make the most of the time I do have with him whilst working every hour under the sun to make sure the mortgage is paid and he has everything he needs. I can honestly say I have the most amazing relationship with him, he is the only 1 that makes me a big softie and to hear him say "daddy" it melts my heart. God bless him
  15. I've heard of these working irish terriers but still waiting to see one
  16. Hunt crazy where did you find this irish terrier?
  17. Uru thank you for sharing your 1st hand experience with the breed as I could only share what I have been told by Adrian, owners and some hunters that have owned them or worked them and so far no one has said anything bad about them. In relation to the pit blood used I was advised by Adrian himself that he used Lonzo blood but prior to that he used a pit bitch owned by his brother that he highly rated but was of unknown breeding.
  18. I can only go by what the breeder and the guys that use them say... But they are highly rated in America among the hunters who have used and use Fells/Patts from Nuttall, Booth, Wheeler and Stevens lines
  19. Having spoken to the breeder I was told that they get on with other dogs, eager to please and obedient, good guard dogs and good with the family... Not to mention they are excellent hunters above ground
  20. My thoughts are with his family, may he R.I.P
