  1. Yeah got mine from lidlw pal and got myself some lyman solution works a treat no flash hole or primer pocket cleaning anymore
  2. ^ always one knob lurking around the forums
  3. If u want to set up on a hill and shoot long range rabbits and corvids at 200+yards u will want more mag on ur scope a 6 to 24 power scope will cover all kinds of shooting. U can never have to much scope Yes .223 is overkill for corvids and rabbits but u won't be hitting many rabbits at 200+ yards with ur. 22 And . 17hmr It's all about kicks and giggles
  4. Yeah I've hade mine for 5 years still going strong good [BANNED TEXT] out walking no doubt to carrying the dreaded box of maracas.
  5. Sako arrow heads are the best factory ammo through my. 223 I reload now and have tried and wasted Alot of money finding a really accurate round and I've came to find the Sierra varminter in 50g which is a no thrills bullet is giving me 1.4" groups at 300 meters. I've tried Hornady Sierra Norma berger lapua Barnes So in other words you have to experiment I've spent over £200 on bullet tips in the last 3 months and only shot around 20 out of 100 to find my best round
  6. My groups open to to 2" after 100 rounds after a good scrubbing and a few fouling rounds down it she's good again
  7. Don't get to caught up in that close to the barrel bollocks pal as long as it comfortable for u to look through that's the main thing. I had my nikon on my.223 2mm away from barrel and it was to low raised it up. Now it 20mm above the barrel and much easier to get eye on scope. And if that's a Nikko mount master scope get it in the bin the zero of ur gun will move if u adjust the ao and mag I had 4 of them Some air rifles and military scopes are 50 mm + above the bore
  8. Leapers bug something 1-6x35 focusable down to 1 yard Hard to find nowadays
  9. Best thing to do is find something the same circumference as ur lamp for my lamp which us a crelant 7g5cs I find a black gym drinks bottle that if cut will fit over my lamp perfect. So I cut off the bottom about 1" up and then cut the bottom open but left a small section in the section left in stops the light shinning out and hitting the Sak mod. For large lamps a lot If people do the same with flower potts the cheap thin plastic ones of course. If u don't understand say and I will post pic it's the best way to do it.
  10. Depends what u are doing pal if it's just a foxing rifle go for a fixed power s&b 8x50 or a meopta 7x50 no messing about with these point shoot adjust zeroed go shooting with amazing bright optics nikon also very good optics for the cash. If ur going to use it for more than just foxing say ur gonna do a bit of long range vermin control u will have to dial in shoots then u going to look at something at least 16x power with good turrets that track well leupold bushnell nikon vortex
  11. Led lenser do a gun kit good out to 150 yards way better than all that deben shit
  12. Trooper 3.0 go KAAAABOOOOOM alot 3.1 the way to go. There's some good prices mitsubishi's kicking about antthere very reliable
  13. Was thinking a quad myself but then there the prob of getting it to and from shooting area. Could drive it but then u need to register it tax it m.o.t it insure it. And the you have something with litte storage room not as comfortable as jeep colder and of course u will get wet if it rains. In my opinion only mine so no one take offence the best simplest option keep car and get jeep aswell, get something like a old vitara or jimny for say 800 to1000 insure it 300ish for me. Same price as a half decent quad. Depends how much ur insurance is to make this worth your while.
  14. Can u not get a 2 piece picitiny riser off ebay?
  15. Youll get them first light in the morning no bother if ur calling is any good. Find the most dense hedging or forest nearest to were the lambs are being taken. 50 percent of the Foxes I get are usually coming from these places
  16. The new crelant 7g6cs will be the best for your cash Great quality super bright long throw and at £35 Have just ordered one will take a few weeks to get here
  17. Ive the same clamp as in the pic above I find it moves easy on smother surface (scope) so I glued a bit of rubber in it so its more sturdy.
  18. If u want cheap changeable colour lamp a halogen is the way to go. The led lenser torches are made to high quality so should last a lifetime. And as said before filter on a led doesn't work.
  19. Not the best better going for a hawke The cheap nikko stirling aren't very good either
  20. Nothing comes close for the cash . £1000 reliable go anywhere jeep what more could u ask for its not a rangerover now but it doesn't claim to be one. Get one and get to a scrap yard and get the biggeat sunroof u can find and stick it on it for lamping jobs a good one
  21. Think its same class as a car unless ur driven as a farm vehicle.
  22. Type mini dvr into ebay make sure ur search options are open to world wide
  23. ........ ←small end | I ←alan key | | @ ←alen bolt Tighten like this using the small end in your hand give it a good wee nip you will realy struggle to damage scope whilst doing it this way. I do this on all my rifles and none has ever moved. 9 individual rifle done and never a problem.
  24. God shooting pal now throw them at the wife and telling her to get In the kitchen. I just got rid of my .22 there think the .17hmr is a better job all round (yes the .22 has its own specialities quiet etc) Year odd ago I sold my cz452 .17 to gather money for shotgun missed it terribly the .22 just wasn't as affective as the .17 in my eye's my personal preference no one freak out. Have juat sent away variation for another .17hmr cz452 style 16" silver barrel and action boyoo.
