When I win the lottery a thermal scope and thermal spotter

  5. Very little difference get the one that you want if it's just for foxing If ur wanting to do longer shoots a .223 with a 1/10 twist shooting 75gr will shoot better than a 22/250 Only real difference is the 22/250 makes a load more mess seen a few rabbits shoot at my mates, body parts everywhere. Get what you fancy you only live once
  6. I have a 10/22 good job but a bolt is better if it's just for pest control Mine 10/22 only cycles eley subs and cci mini mags without give me bother I have cut of about 6 spring to make it cycle the subs easier and changed the buffer pin which the bolt slides back and hits to a nylon one so there is more give and a bit more return spring. I have mine set up with see through mounts so I can shoot stuff up close fast had a red dot on top of scope at the start but used mine friends one with the see through mounts much better and looks neater also. Only problem I have really had with t
  7. Sounds like u have tried a few different loads good info tho [BANNED TEXT] i first loaded for my .223 i tried viht n130 as it came in the 1kg tubs Straight of the bat i tried 4 different bullets soerra blitz 50gr and 55gr lapua soft point 55gr and sierra varminter lead tip the lapua were the best averaging a 12mm group at 100m messed with oal but never noticed any difference was told that custom rifles like the oal varied to fit the gun more so than a factory rifle could be bullshit but im no professional by an means
  8. I will have to check that website out The boy that shoot .204 at my local gun club swear by cfc223 powder most consistant for speed and accuray over viht and hodgens So im gonna use the viht n130 to expand the beass to chamber then try the cfc223 Viht website and my reloading books tell me to use n133 for 204 Took seven months to get the rifle in the country will have to wait another 6 months to get it on my license

  12. Just been told im moving to edinburgh by the wife as she has landed herself a good job. Im from northern ireland so when i move over i will know nobody and nothing to do with shooting there. So the last 8 years of shooting friends and permissions i have gained are now lost. I will maybe put a ad in the lonely hearts colum.

  18. Make a day length gauge Get a old case and dremel out a notch in the Base big enough so the it fits over the ejector with out touching it the slit the neck open So [BANNED TEXT] u put case on bolt with a bullet seated slightly in the ejector will not push the case so the case will be straight. If that don't make sense I'll post pic later
