  1. If ur playing back on it get a hd one even if thoo ur nv isn't hd, the pic will be much better. There are other smaller simpler ones with only one button and no screen which will just record. Also check and see what format yhey record in so it compatible wigh your other gear. ^^^^^^ boring yes helpful maybe prob not
  2. Crelant 7g5 Or Thrunite catapult Nicer beam profile for hunting cheapish amazing long beam 600yards plus on clear nights you wont be disappointed. The nm800 is coming with a new searcher style head theae are better for hunting as alot of people didn't like the tight square beam.
  3. Good shooting pal now just get them skinmed and in the slow cooker with mango and ginger chutney and a side of pilua rice or whatever u call it. Love them wee anchutz rifles was gonna get a 14"barrel .17hmr but wwould have annoyed me to much if I got a mark on it so just went for a cz style
  4. Looks like I'll just continue wiping with the trusted oily rag. Or go stainless in the future. Anyone I now starting shoiting I have pushed them towards stainless as our climate is bollocks and seems to wreck everything with iron in it.
  5. A relfex mod partially slides over ur barrel to make ur overall length shorter but still gives u the same moderation of sound. So the answer you got earlier (none) was alot of piss
  6. Like the lei one but at £150 it better come with a blow job machine or something. It looks well smart and would look rather pretty in front of my silver cz452. Due a tax rebate here so mite just bite thee bullet as they say and go for it. Im also considering a center fire mod with changable threads at the min as I need a can for my .223 so could use for both
  7. No lazi-c**t-itis here pal. I look after my gear carry a plastic tube/bag with me which we use in work for directing ventilation, and a oily rag in each gun bag with small Guinness towels I borrowed from a p an o ferry boat to dry them. Just sick to death doing it but then again im out all night and do it several times and its does my head in cause im ocd when they get wet. Both my rifle seem to handle any moisture very badly. Never had problems with the shotguns tho they would be shot more and heat will drive moisture out. What about the vinyl stuff for camouflaging a rif
  8. Niko stirling night eaters are the cheapest high mag I would personally go for
  9. The prob im getting is I usually only get out every couple of weeks at the min and when I get out I do a all nighter usually 8/10hrs and I can see small blemishes appearing on barrel .
  10. Read alot of reviews and for the amount of money u have to spend for a couple of db's less your not gonna notice it. Think the sak was only 2db less than the best and it cost £160ish
  11. Lol hutchey just got rid of my .22 there so will prob regret that as well, awell keep the gun dealers pockets lined Shot several more rabbits on outings with .17 than .22 and had great craic last summer sitting up over a warren 120yards away sniping them with ease. Record with .22 37 .17hmr 80ish Big difference
  12. Always keep my guns with a light coating of oil when I go out when its a bit wet but it gets rubbed off easy. Is the anything else I could put on that lasts longer I was thinking of mizing some oil with a liquid waxto help Iit bind to gun for longer wear for whenIim out. Any idea's?
  13. Different brass will also be harder or softer from brand to brand . In other words some will hold your bullets tighter and will need more pressure before releasing the projectile. Different pressures ain't good at all.
  14. Been looking around for a reflex mod for my .17hmr but the smallest I have seen is 4" before I get bombarded with remarks asking why a sak is bot good enough, it is but I want to go as small as possible with a budget of £100 ftom tacfire I think. The rifle is going to be used from jeep alot so every inch less helps alot. I was going to get a weihrauch with a 14" barrel but it will get knocked about alot so didn't want to reck such a rifle so got a cz452 style 16" had one before and got rid of it bad mistake by myself.
  15. Looks awesome What kind of valve they use in them? Regulated?
  16. 1st place winner .17hmr 2nd place runner up .22lr 3rd place anything but wmr 4th place last position .22wmr
  17. There should be more ammo options as its been on the market longer. If the hmr had been on the market as long as the wmr it would probably have the same or more im guessing The calibre lends it self to more versatility of ammo than a HMR! How?
  18. There should be more ammo options as its been on the market longer. If the hmr had been on the market as long as the wmr it would probably have the same or more im guessing
  19. Any good quality scope will hold poi in all mag settings. Cheapest scope I would buy is a hawke sf Hate nikko Stirling had to many poi shifts with there scopes Hard to beat the old skmmons wtc for the cash
  20. Surprised they still make ammo for the wmr as the hmr is clearly a better round
  21. Prone wins hands down for me for zeroing even if its wet I get down. Groups usual half for me when laying down. Bipod at front sand bag at rear
  22. Fac air rifles are a pain in the arse without a regulator. Ur point of impact will move 3 time from full psi to mid psi to low and [BANNED TEXT] its at the low end of the psi scale your shoots will drop off very fast. If its a 200bar refill u will prob find your most accurate range of psi will be from 170psi down to maybe 100bar and if say 30ftlb model with a small air cylinder you will omly get around 25 real accurate shots. So best advice I would give would be if getting a fac get one with at least ba 400/500cc cylinder and fitted with a regulator. Weihrauch Hw100 theoben mf
  23. As above 3200 tactical they had these on most of the us sniper rifles for a long time
