  1. If ur getting a dac air rifle get one which has adjustable power if your hoing to shoot inside building's. Airarms and fx are adjustable
  2. If ita only a foxing rifle for verminand not a specific range/longrange gun with fancy scopes dialing turrets wind meters laser range finder etc etc there is no big demand for the faster twist rate as you only having it aore the sach of it. And because its a faster twist the barrel life will be slightly less than per say a 1/12 twist. I have my 1/12 twist shooting 50g sierras out to 450hitting steel fox size targets
  3. Im looking at a anshutz thumhole 14"barrel 17hmr bit pricey at 750 but worth it for tge 14" barrel [BANNED TEXT] u consider a cz at £400ish then to get it cut down then the resale value I was told by shop i may be ordering from trade in value if I ever sell it will be around 470 so not that bad of a investment
  4. This is the most basic one I could find U can make 2 or 3 for different magnifications
  5. Best way to do it for a .22 is set a target up zero at watever range you wish (say 50yards and set magnification to watever your going to be using most lets say 8x power) then shoot a 3 shot group at30 yards aiming at the same zero mark as 50yards make a note or draw a mildot reticle up and mark were it was hitting then move back to 40yards shot a 3 shot group mark again were it was hiting keep going out until wat ever range you want. A laser range finder is a must for this. And if u change magnification you will have to make another new mil drop/holdover chart.
  6. Get some xtar or keepower 18650 batts in them make a vast improvement.
  7. Crelant 7g5 top quality 600yards open beam not one if these square beam toys yiu see everywhere nowadays. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150980009489 Check out the rest of the crelant range you will be amazed by how good the 7g5 is Also look at the thrunite totches More features and setting's than tge the nightmaster yes its good bug well over priced. The thrunite tn31 and the crelant 7g5 arr hard to beat unless your willing to spend £250+ on a olight Look up reviews of the two I mentioned above. They will bw delivered from china the few I have order for myse and my fr
  8. Perfect for rimfire and air rifle long range shots Good condition
  9. Had this on my .22 rifle and my .223 great scope fir the longer shots £ [BANNED TEXT] it was on my .22 I had a piece of paper taped around the turret marked out to 100yards very handy, so u could quickly dial in the scope means I could use all mag setting without being stuck to one setting than using a hold over reticle.
  10. Finally got out to check at further range Sierra 50gr 22.8 n130 viht 3325fps Tested today which wasn't ideal (windy) Out to 250yards Done 3 5 shot groups at 250yards Best was 1.8" Know it can do better as I had to shoot of the car roof as it was to wet to lay down and it was moving in the wind. Went a scoot up to my local permission and hit a few rabbits and crows from 300yards to 350yards
  11. Crelant 7g5 Thrunite tn31 One of them will do ur job better than most 600yads Spot eyes 1000yards easy
  12. Hw60 is the nicest one I have seen.
  13. Get a nikon monarch instead better glass better turrets worth more resale wise original price was £600+ now there going for 300+ There's alot of them on sale as I think they must be bringing out a newer model 32 is alot of power what kind of shooting u doing? 24 power is loads for longrange center fire rifles. A 4-16x50 power scope is the beat all rounder for me and many others. Are you doing field target of something like that?
  14. Seen alot of his stuff he said he thinks the nikon is a good value scope
  15. Have been looking at yhe nikon alot I keep coming back to it The prob is I can't seem to get any reviews of the tracking of the turrets. Im pushed more towards bushnell tactical and vortex just because of the reviews of the turret tracking. The nikon prob has better glass but thats not what im worried about
  16. [BANNED TEXT] I was looking for a scope for a 10/22 I NEVER ended up geten was a leaders bug buster which was a 1x6-40 ao cheap and well built The idea of this was to me was I could turn it down to 1 and use it for moving targets
  17. Want a long range scope with nice turrets the vortex scope I have seen is £500 and it my max budget. If your wanting to see them go to riflecraft.com/.uk
